Don't worry. The mavs will go on another win streak now.
Mavs just had an incredible 13 game winning streak before losing to Denver, yet SA is still number one in the west. Wow. Shows just how good SA is.
Don't worry. The mavs will go on another win streak now.
That will end on March 2.![]()
What was the Mavs reign? 20 hours or something? Does this even deserve a thread?
Man, you would get more respect here if half the you said wasn't stupid as . The Spurs haven't been injured at all? Timmy hasn't missed games? Manu hasn't missed games? Horry hasn't missed games? Nick? Fabricio? Mike F?
STFU, and come back if the mavs can ever beat the spurs in the playoffs.
Spurs have been battling injuries all season. Manu was out for 10 games earlier in the year and we just got Horry back after 9 games out. Van X just came back, and Oberto is out right now.
Every team battles injuries.
Yeah...I was kind of wondering about that oversight myself. I still have a hard time believing the Spur's record is what it is considering how much a few key players have missed.
The only player on that list that deserves mention is Manu and 10 games is not going to kill the spurs. Josh Howard went down, Stackhouse went down, Christie was a bust, Terry missed some games, Daniels went down, and etc. I think the injury ratio is 4:1 so before you call me stupid look up how many games missed by key players on Dallas.
So if you are going to about Manu's 10 games, you can't whine about Howard's eight or Terry's two.
Don't forget Stackhouse, Terry, and Harris.
I actually will forget about them, because $97 million should buy a team some depth.
Your right your sounding even more stupid with each post. Your trying to compare champagne to beer. It ain't working. Injuries have plagued both teams and the whole easier schedule bs only applies to football where you don't have to play every team.
ok now that I proved the mavs have had more injury issues why is that bs? Yes injuries are a part of the game and the spurs have had it easier. If the mavs can stay healthy they could win the division. I think we missed Harris last night since Terry got in foul trouble.
Took you long enough to make up that excuse.
"The Mavericks have no weaknesses."
I ain't gonna argue with young Cuban cause obviously you believe in your excuses and will take them to your grave. And yeah it the Spurs do have it easier since they just won the championship and everybodies gunning for them. Give me a break.
Well a lot of players hate the mavs and show it on the court. Must be racist or something the way they talk about Dirk.
And now....
The Victim Card.
Are you kidding me!!!!![]()
You just pulled the freakin race card with Dirk
![]()
How old are you? Who is they and what have they said. Dirk bashes his own teammates, which most of them are black, when he's under pressure, so if anybody bashes him its probably because he's not a good leader and he can't play D.
DUDE IT IS COMMON KNOWLEDGE WHEN YOU ARE PLAYING THE CHAMPS ALL TEAMS GET UP FOR THAT GAME!
IT MIGHT BE PLAYERS PLAY HARDER AGAINST THE MAVS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT LIKE OWNERS WATCHING OTHER NBA PLAYERS SHOWER!!!!!!!
As another poster said, you are comparing beer to champagne. Granted when you compare Stack, Daniels and Van Horn to Duncan and Manu, the Mavs have missed games. But you need to get a grip on reality if you are really making a case that the Mavs have been slowed more by injury.
Of The Mavs big three Dirk has missed 0, Terry 2 and Howard 8 games, and have had no lingering injuries the entire season. Otherwise, most all the Mavs injuries have been to second tier and bench support.
For the Spurs, it has been THE TWO most valuable players in last years entire NBA Playoffs, Manu and Tim who have been most hampered. Manu has missed 13 games, plus left a game with an injury early and came off the bench and/or played limited minutes to work himself back into shape 14 more games. If you can count, that is 28 games where the Spurs did not have the benifit the Manu who tore up the playoffs. And Duncan has had a very nagging PF injury effecting his mobility for over 35 games.
I don't see anything wrong with Duncan. It is probably very minor because his stats are the same as always.
Don't play the race card like and paint yourself more like an idiot. Yea, like that would be possible at this point.![]()
Like in life, most NBA Players will return what is given. The Spurs are one of the most diverse teams in the history of all of sport, in regards to race. Led by a star who respects all of his teammates and all of his foes, the Spurs don't have any such problems.
You Are Full Of
Anyone Can Tell He Is Not As Aggressive This Year As Last
We tried to tell you, much of your problem is judging what you have not developed the skill to see with your eyes, by using stats. Tim's stats are about the same because Tony, Manu and some additional solid offensive support make his job much easier. Not having to carry the load as much, Tim still has enough game and knowledge to pick his spots and keep his scoring average up. If you think Tim's mobility is the same as before his ankle injury last year, especially as limited on B2B's, you need to go back to school and watch some tape.
That said, this injury will actually make the Spurs much tougher if Tim returns to near his form. In recent weeks, Tim's play combined with knowing the extended rest between games he will have in the playoffs, have made most knowledgable Spurs fans quite comfortable with what Tim and the Spurs will bring come June if the core gets/remains healthy.
