Manu's Got Aim
In the closing minutes of practice today the Spurs were going through their usual free-throw shooting drill at the six different goals around the practice court. On the goal closest to the media, Rasho Nesterovich was finishing out his drill as Manu finished his quick session with reporters. Manu picked up a nearby ball and took his aim. From a distance of something equivilent to throwing from half-court, Manu threw a line drive at Rasho's shot right as Rasho released his free-throw. As Rasho's shot was about half-way to the goal, Manu's ball slammed into it, sending it flying to the other side of the gym! Manu had a laugh, went and jumped on Rasho's back and they horsed around for a little bit, and Manu trotted into the locker room for a shower.
