I don't think that contract is that bad if they were in a relationship where she was in the submissive role.

There's a lot of people who are into the submissive/dominant sex or life roles, and in this scenario he wasn't doing anything physically harmful to her. He was just expecting her to submit to his every desire.

That type of relationship isn't for me, but it works for other people. :shrug I'm not saying it's a good thing, but I wasn't really "outraged" by the contract like so many other people seem to be.
