I started becoming more interested in Nascar after listening to Bubba the Love Sponge talk about it on his show twice a week. I may tune into a few laps.
NASCAR sucks ass. I'd rather cut my toe nails.
I love the crashes and it's about the only thing they show on Sports news.

the "plate" they refer to is called a restrictor plate, it sits on top of the carbuerator and restricts the amount of air that ne engine can receive. This basically limits the cars horsepower, keeping all of the cars aboout the same speed. While this keep all the cars at the same speed, it also means that the cars will travel together since nobody has a real advantage over another driver. This makes for 3-wide groupings going into turns and when one driver makes a wrong move, there is usually a HUGE wreck to follow.
I am not a fan of restrictor plate racing.
but there are only two tracks that NASCAR enforces the restrictor plates, Daytona, and Talledega.
It's because the length of the track will allow the car to go 300 miles an hour which is out of their safety range....

tony clearly slid up the track and gordon went to pass, naturally. tony wasnt happy that he made a mistake and took out gordon in the process of his temper tantrum
stewart is lame. and he cried all week long and still didnt accept responsibility after the race for his actions and still cried about others. he needs a reality check
