BITE YOUR TONGUE!
BITE YOUR TONGUE!
I'd swallow my tongue before I'd watch Lifetime . . .
, id become a spurs or lakers fan before watching lifetime.
wtf. another poll sanctioned by Stephen A.
I love Lifetime and Lifetime Movie Network ....
Ah yes, Lifetime: Television for Victims.![]()
This is just proof that the Spurs stand no chance against the Pistons, Mavs, or even Jazz for that matter.![]()
Being a dumbass on purpose? Who knows.
Well I guess they didn't think the spurs are quite at that level to be on the poll.
Me too!
But Shoogar doesn't like it because he knows most of the movies are of how men really are![]()
3 trophies later and they are still bitter about our Spurs![]()
This got Don Harris all riled up on Don's Extra Point
Dammit. I wanted the REMATCH. Crushing the Mavs or whoever just won't be as fulfilling.![]()
Maybe in '07?
Depends on if ESPN will let us.
Don't dare make fun of Lifetime movies. You'll have to answer to me and S y otherwise.
Did they end up taking the poll down cause I can't find it on any of teh ESPN pages at all?
Check the link out that was posted on pg 1 of this thread. I was able to follow it there.
Sorry to get here so late, but the life of the greatest sports analyst is a busy one. Now obviously some of you are up in arms over the fact (FACT!) that San Antonio is not going to repeat. Actually by the looks of the numbers they may not even make the playoffs. What no one bothered to tell you guys in Spursville is that the NBA is actually shifting the playoff system so that teams no longer win by actually playing, but instead they will voted for, much in the same way that the Oscars and seats in Congress are handed out. It's a system that I've favored for years, as clearly the people are ready to handle such an important decision. After all, they've been voting for my boys AI and the Big Fella for the All Star team for years, so they must possess at least the intellect to realize that I am 100% correct about their greatness; something that the hatas on this board can't begin to fathom. You might think this is unfair to the Spurs, but they have no one to blame but themselves. If they didn't this to happen they shouldn't have drawn such poor ratings in the finals last year.
Besides, this new system will actually do you a favor of not having to watch your Spurs get beat. Let's face it, how on earth can a team with Rasho Nesterovic possibly win a championship? I know that some revisionist NBA historians are going to come at me waiving their stats and trying to tell me that the Spurs won last year while Rasho was on the team. However we all know that the Heat won last year, securing Shaq's reputation as the most dominant force in the NBA. The Spurs and Pistons of course refused to acknowledge this, and staged a fake NBA finals, even going so far as to bribe high ranking officials at ABC and the NBA to allow it and making a fake Larry O'Brien trophy.
Now you may say to yourself why am I just hearing about this? Because Stephen A. Smith is the only journalist with enough street cred to tell it like it is. The bottom line is that ESPN is the world's finest news source and the people have spoken. No le for the Spurs and quite frankly, the world is better for it.
It's the tabloids - they'll write anything. I wouldn't put too much stock in it.
and you think they think a team who's known for choking when the real basketball session begins does?

Stephan A. ....... I hate you so much it hurts. But it's a pain that I like.
CIA Pop has done it again. Now the Spurs are so low-key they don't even appear in the teams listing anymore. Noone even knows what conference they play in anymore!
