While the Spurs and Pistons are huge favorites to meet in the finals, a few other teams could upset one or both.

Although it has only been in issolated games and in flashes, the Heat, Cavs, Nets and Pacers have demonstrated they may develop into solid teams if they get healthy and on a roll at the right time.

In the West the Mavs, Suns, Clippers, and Nuggets have shown enough to demonstrate they will not be fun to play, especially if they get all players healthy and/or add a missing piece long enough before the playoffs to jell. While they don't impress me as much, the Griz, Kings and even the Rockets, if they can overcome a lost first half of the season to squeek into the playoffs, have some elements that could make them tough as well.

While I would never call either the East of the West wide open, San Antonio and Detroit will neither have calk walks to the finals, as many expect.
