I think it's a combination of 1) still, maybe even subconsciously, worrying about reinjuring the foot, and 2) not having been able to get a real rhythm going because of the string of injuries. Manu is such an intuitive player, so much of his style of play comes from being in a groove, that if he doesn't have a chance to develop that rhythm, it's going to affect his play. It's kind of like a jazz musician who for some reason hasn't had the chance to rehearse much lately and so can't really improvise easily.

I agree about what people are saying about manu but i think there is no problem while tony and tim continue doing a good job. We dont have to forget that the real compe ion begins during playoffs and maybe that would be the "manu time"![]()
