Matt Carroll is also doing pretty well in Charlotte... I think.

Noel is getting signed to a second 10-day contract tomorrow.![]()
Good stuff
Congrats Noel!
I wish I had league pass so I could see him play live. I want to see another dunk and sick block.![]()
Excellente, maybe you will see him in SA next month
We'll just have to get the highlights when we go to Kori's house.![]()
True. I'm just glad he got the 2nd 10-day. Now his mom and baby get to see him play in person tomorrow because they play the Lakers in L.A.
Hmmm.... perhaps if he's still there on March 26, we should have a GTG to watch him?

Sonics Notebook: Fizer out, Felix in
Sonics waive former first-rounder
By GARY WASHBURN
P-I REPORTER
Sonics coach Bob Hill attributed it more to the team's forward depth than the production of Noel Felix.
The Sonics did not renew the 10-day contract of forward Marcus Fizer, leaving the former lottery pick to sign with another team or head back to the NBA Developmental League. And the primary reason Fizer was allowed to go was shooting baskets at Furtado Center on Sunday well after his teammates departed into the beautiful, cool Seattle sunshine.
Felix stayed late at practice yet again, shooting mid-range jumpers and working on his ballhandling. He was working so long after practice that he had to yell to a Sonics' assistant that he wasn't overdoing it.
Because Felix is developing so quickly in practice as either a small or power forward, Hill said he realized Fizer wouldn't get much playing time in the final 17 games.
"We're probably not going to make the playoffs, we're working hard to develop things," Hill said. "To get (Fizer) minutes with the guys that are already here and still trying to win games is difficult."
Hill spent Friday working Fizer out during a voluntary practice and is convinced the former Iowa State standout and first-team All American still has something left to offer an NBA club.
"He really did a good job," Hill said. "He had a good at ude. He was in here early every day. I would venture to guess he was in here when he didn't have to be. I think he's an NBA player."
Felix has scored two points in two games, but has done most of his improving in practice. The Sonics like Felix's potential as a versatile forward who can play defense. He was chosen as the Continental Basketball Association defensive Player of the Year last week.
"He can run, he can really jump and he is developing his jump shot," Hill said. "With Damien (Wilkins) and Rashard (Lewis), again, it's difficult to get him a lot of minutes. And he beat me in bowling. I told him it's not smart to beat the coach because I control the minutes."
Felix finished off Hill in Ray Allen's bowling tournament Saturday.
It looks like they like him and they will sign him for the reminder of the season at the end of second 10 days contract.![]()
Yea! I was hoping so.
Well done Noel!

Grats to him!
Please don't go buy 6 cars.
Put the money away for your kid's college.
They have been talking to his agent about signing him for the rest of the season for the last few days. So yes, it looks like he's going to stay there. *fingers crossed* But nothing if for sure 'til he actually signs, which should be tomorrow.
If that's the case, we should try to get together on Sunday to watch Spurs/Sonics.
Good idea, even though he may not even play. Maybe we just do a GTG at our house. Let me find check our schedule and I may post it tomorrow.
I'm in for a GTG if there is one.![]()
Oh no, does this mean Kori is now a closet Sonics fan?![]()
Think my dislike for Ray Allen will stop that from happening.![]()
Sequ will get hard after he reads this.
I wonder what he bowled in that tourney.
8 minute mark in the 2nd qtr, and Noel is brought in the game. He already has a basket, and a steal off of Abdur Rahim
