We're talking about LA here, the celebrities buy most of the tickets, and they don't go to sit and watch the game, as soon as they are shown on the screen they leave.

I'd imagine he's talking about how many seats were empty when the game started. But that's how it always is at Staples Center. It's very difficult to get there by game time. I worked in Beverly Hills and would leave my office at 6:00pm and sometimes miss tipoff at 7:30pm.

Misti, could you hear any of the Spurs' coaching staff or players commenting during the game? If so, what are some examples i.e. laughing about missed assignments (who?), chiding other players shooting near them, players comments to Pop or Pop to them, etc.?
^^^ We couldn't hear much, the music is really loud. We did hear Manu telling everyone at the end to watch out for Kobe, especially now (since it was crunch time).

Also, if time permits... could you ask Duncan, if he's thought about the possibility that his All-NBA-1st Team streak may come to an end.... or if you think he will give you a stern look with that question simply ask him to tell you if he remembers another night (aside from last night) where he had more assists than rebounds.... you could jest with Nick and tell him he ruined Tim's double double by missing his shot....

It was attached to my purse at that point, but I did wear it during the game.

Also if you get a chance could you ask NVE why he cannot execute an end of quarter play and insists on going too soon or forcing the ball for a turnover so that the Spurs not only don't get the last shot, the other team gets the ball with enough time to score? If you get a chance. Oh and could you ask him why he likes to shoot when it is 1 one 5? If you get a chance.

Someone needs to photoshop some full beards on the guys so that we know what to expect.
I want to know if Bowen is doing the "no shaving" thing. I can't imagine. He trims his goatee like a perfectionist, so I can't imagine him letting it go wild.
