    "Suns are powerful at home."

Not really. The Suns have at least 2 more losses home than Pistons, Spurs, Mavs, and Heat.

You're right about that. Pistons are 27-2 at home (both losses coming in OT, incredibly), Spurs 26-3, Mavs 28-5, and the Heat are 23-6 at home. Phoenix is 24-8 at home, two games better than Cleveland, three games better than Washington, 2 1/2 better than the Clippers. In a league where the best teams are almost untouchable at home, 24-8 isn't really all that remarkable.

During the game on Sunday, one of the announcers mentioned that Phoenix at the start of the year lost the 1st 4 of 5 home games. It seems that they are protecting their home court better now.

Every game is important as after March 1st. With the Spurs basically 3 games behind Detroit (since the Pistons have the tiebreaker), they cannot afford to have off days where they don't show up.

It's a Lose, Lose situation for the Suns...because if they win tonite they will go into the playoffs more relaxed and with their guard down thinking the Spurs are easy...and if they lose they will go in fearing to meet them again........

Considering neither team is at perfect health, IMO, it's just like last season February Spurs/Suns game. Important for the standings, nothing much elese.

If both teams were able to play their likely playoff rotations, then it would have more meaning. Since both teams will look different come playoff time (more so the Suns), then I don't think this game is much more than two names.

It could determine who gets homecourt in the playoffs. You never know.
and, as usual, it doesn't include the mavs. see you next year, but especially in the 2nd round. i'll apologize in advance. please get your excuses together now.

Considering what was on the floor, it was like a win against the Hawks.

It was fun to watch though.

The Lakers game is now more important than it otherwise might have been. The Spurs can't avoid a trap game only to fall into another one.
