That is rich, beyitch!![]()
The Spurs are 17-4 since the midpoint of the season. They're on the run right now, regardless of what happened tonight.
There are twelve days until the next Spurs Fan Chicken Little & Moan session, when the Spurs will have their five-game winning streak snapped by the Nuggets.
Then the ing and moaning will go quiet as the Spurs go on a long winning streak, and everybody will be convinced that finally, they've shook off the "doldrums."
In all that time, nothing will have changed with the team except that the schedule will have gotten more favorable.
Sorry to those of you who went tonight. Of course, the fact that you paid should have imbued the Spurs within superhuman strength. If you want to blame somebody, blame the schedule makers. Nobody wins under those cir stances.
4th game in 5 nights....what do you expect...
who cares...
the playoffs do not have back 2 back nights.
The Spurs are still going to win it all, but tonight was a waste of time.
There is nothing wrong with calling it the way ya see it...and yes I agree, to have that kind of a lack of effort on your home court is really lame. Had I gone to the game I'd be really pissed.
Just because people come here and tell it like it is doesn't mean they are jumping off the bandwagon...lol
"They were tired, it was a back to back, it was only a regular season game, they will win when it matters"....all EXCUSES !! Maybe a bit of truth in them, but still excuses. Excuses are like a-holes, everybody has one.
Buck up and play the game. There are people that can only afford to go to a few games all year, and they have to watch that crap?
Always stay humble and appreciate the position you are in to make a crapload of $$$ for playing a game. It is sick to think of how much cash some Spurs players made tonight for one game when they didn't earn it.
Let the truth be told...Tim sucked badly tonight, Manu didn't try until the second half, Nazr made Slobonis look athletic etc.
Only players that deserve a paycheck for tonights game are Bruce and Brent.
Like I said, the Spurs will still win it all, and we will be going to another river parade, but damn...ya got to call it like ya see it.
I still love ya SpursI'm just dissapointed with ya...until Sunday hopefully

i was pretty sure SPAM meant spurs peak AFTER march, but you'd have to check with Chopper or Solid D to be sure. the meaning of SPAM has never changed E20.
hey sequ
why don't you become a laker fan?
great game tonight kobe
thanks.
why you a spur fan anyways? look at these fools crying because they now 4th? it could be MUCH worse
cuz i love my spurs like i love my stripper
i know of a few stripers back from high school
I can only afford to go to about one Spurs game a year. I went to their game against Memphis this year and it was great, but if I had gone to tonight's game I would have been really pissed. The ammount of money that these guys get payed to play the game that they love is rediculous. These fans pay good money to see their favorite team at least put up effort. Effort is all I ask for as a fan and as somebody who plays this game. Effort is why many prefer college basketball over the NBA, because those kids play harder despite not getting a penny for it. Effort is everything. This Spurs have rarely shown it this year and it sickens me immensly because I care so much. I mean it's gotten absolutely rediculous. Nobody in their right minds would pay to see the craptacular effort the Spurs put on today. I am dead serious and I'm not jumping ship or anything, but if the Spurs don't turn up the intenstiy and at least act like they give a (especially Tim who seems to be sleepwalking through the season more than anyone else) this team's championship aspirations will be finished.![]()
Damn it was good to get that off of my chest.
hmmm... some things just aren't what they were.
I think Tim cares, but he's knows his caring means nothing if his foot won't let him play, so his normally blank face appears even more detached, unconcerned.
Tim: 32 minutes, 4 RBs, while Spurs defense, anchored by Tim, gives up 56 points in the paint, while Spurs score only 26 points in the a point, and lose the RBs again, -8.
The Spurs frontline sucks fatally again, 2nd time this week:
Tim+Nazr+Rasho+Robert: 85 mins, 6/18 = 33% (while the team shoots 46%), 17 pts,
11 RBs.
Tim has a crippling excuse, WTF is wrong with the other 3 bigs?
Brent and Michael had excellent games, what a ing waste.
12/21 = 56%, 32 pts, 4 RB, 4 AST, 4 TOs.
Stupid post if I ever saw one.
The Spurs have a ridiculous home record over the last three years (less than 10 losses).
Sequ your favourite poster?
You must not be too bright.
If to be a fan means to accept that our team will play without spirit ... I am not a fan![]()
I know 4 games in 5 nights ... but ppl if the starters are tired![]()
Put them for the photo, then call a time out and send
Rasho + Marks + Beno + Barry + Finley to play ...![]()
I prefer to lose a game but playing with heart and passion than a moral victory bc we are tired ...

leemajors is right -- people's interpretations of SPAM may have been different, but it means the same thing it has always meant:
Spurs
Peak
After
March
This, however, does not mean that the Spurs will go winless. If Detroit and _allas weren't that close in the standings, we would be celebrating this year as the best year in Spurs history so far, record wise.
The best way to summarize the Laker loss is that it was an off night. We started badly in the first half and just could not make up the deficit in the second half. It's time to move on.
Their plane landed at 3:30 AM...I don't care who you are, its tough to play your 4th game in 5 nights on that little rest.
Unless you are Barry Bonds.
/steroids.
Thats the best point anyone has made all year!!
This thread is pointless.
We get back on track on sunday.
Good point, however it's not like they were flying on a commercial flight and had to claim their baggage. The Spurs are frankly too deep to have any excuse for such a poor record on back to backs. The Chicago Bulls have a winning record on the second leg of B2Bs, and they have played more of them.
