I would give up Bumkin for Lebron in a heartbeat. I would also give up manu for wade. If I could only do one of those trade, give me lebron.

Man, I wouldn't trade Duncan for the Pistons starting 5. Tim is the reason we have an arena. Tim's the main reason we have 3 banners hanging in it. He stuck by this team when Orlando looked like a dynasty in the making with Grant Hill already comitted. I don't care if he was 38 and broken down - I'd still never trade him.
agree that Tim is the main reason we have 3 banners. However, if the trade presented itself to get Lebron for this version of Tim Duncan there's no way in the world anyone would say no. We don't have to worry because Cleveland aint that crazy. Now that's the truth like it or not.

we're not talking about the past. otherwise, we would trade for bill russell. We're talking about today. Lebron is only in his 2nd year and is only 21 years old. Like the Tony Parker or Jason Kidd argument.
LeBron has not won anything yet and we don't know if he even can. Oh, yea, he won endorsements. Is there a trophy for that?
Tim is in his prime. This PF should dissipate during the summer and Tim will be his old self again next year. We will win a couple more championships before Cleveland ever gets to a Conference Final. So what is to debate?
it took michael jordan 3 years of college and 6 years in the pros before he won his first championship. Give the kid who is 2 years removed from high school a bit of a break, he's totally kicking butt. Btw, Duncan was hurt last year too.
I appreciate Tim but at this point I'd give him up for Lebron in a heartbeat. If you're talking 3 years ago I would stick with Tim.
Just in case you don't know, James is avg. 30pts 7rebs,7ast,1.5stls,1blk per game. Imagine surrounding him with the likes of David Robinson, Manu, and Tony instead of Flip Murray, and Daimon Jones.

If the Spurs were dumb enough to trade Duncan, I'd hope they kept him in the west so he could knock their asses out of the playoffs.
