This guy must have family in California.

Hmmm considering we are a very young team, but yeah ok.
With a thirty-something point guard without whom they play like the Knicks.

You guys live off this winning a ring argument dont you.
We wouldn't expect you to understand it since you've never experienced your team doing it.

But considering the average Spurs fan didn’t even know the Spurs existed till they won that first 1/2 of a championship you guys probably don’t know that. No charge for the history lesson.
That makes about as much sense as bloviating about the constant rain in Phoenix. The Baseline Bums were dumping guacamole on Larry Brown's head long before that john knocked up your mother.

P.S. It's kind of sad to talk about the "1/2 championship" when your team has zero in its history. You only wish you could have celebrated something.

The Spurs have three banners hanging in their arena. The Suns have three of the most epic chokes in NBA history (1981, 1994, 1995) and still no les.

I love this...You had no idea the Spurs even existed before they picked up your favorite European players, and then you wanna talk smack like you are some hardcore Spurs fan. YOU ARE A BANDWAGON FAN and any real Spurs fan on this board should have you banned. I can only imagine what you thought the first time someone mentioned the Admiral. "huh Spurs, ships me so confused".

see? your just pulling smack outta your ass.
you don't know anything about the posters here. your comebacks only fit in a general stereo type sense.
meanwhile your original "question" to Spurs fans was really a jab (poor jab based on untruths) not very well disguised.

I'm going to give your trolling 6 1/2 Stars out of a possible 10 Stars.
Definatly seen better ... (a few detroit and mav's fans come to mind) .. but your not the worst. keep trying and hopefully next year around the time Spurs are once again ending the Suns championship dreams you'll be a master troll.

Must be that Texas math, one 30 something mvp, doesn’t make a team old. I wonder if the Spurs will tank the season following Duncan’s retirement for that #1 pick again.

don't you remember that "secret super fans only secret handshake" party where a select few got to take bats to DROb thus injuring him and ensuring that we would have enough balls in the lottery to dream of a top 5 pick??

thankgoodnes the 5mill we paid off to Stern came threw and our measly chance of getting hte #1 actually came thru.

I'd prefer they tank next year for Oden.

The problem is that the Spurs, unlike the Suns, can't suck without trying to get those high draft picks from time to time.

    You suck at reading comprehension.

Steve Nash is 32. Point guards start to decline in their mid-30's.

    Texas math:

Suns with Nash the past two years: 104-33
Suns without Nash the past two years: 2-6

So when Nash declines, your Suns will be a *young* lottery team.

It aint fresh...People have been talking about it since 1997. Yes the Spurs had a team in 1997. Freaking bandwagon fan.

    1996= 59-23 (win division)
1997= 20-62 (Hmmm same team wonder what happened, isnt Duncan available and boy the Admiral* is old and a choker)
1998= 56-26 (Wow they won the division again)

For those who have no idea who the admiral is, let me know and I will provide some background. And yes he was a basketball player.

If the Spurs tanked that season on purpose they sure did a ty job of it, as I believe they had the worst mathematical odds of any of the lottery teams at getting the number one. And don't try to tell me for a second that the NBA office rigged something for the Spurs. David Stern looks like he's about to vomit every time he says the word Spurs and Champions in the same sentence. And Robinson wasn't the only injury they Spurs had that year. Just about every member of that roster missed significant time.

And all you want about Duncan, but that doesn't change the fact that the Spurs have arguably gotten the two biggest draft steals in the last five years in Parker and Ginobili. That's not luck, that's intelligent front office work.

Go stock up on bait, because this time in May you'll be going on a fishing trip.

Let's look at the history of the Phoenix Suns.

    NBA Champions:
    None

    NBA Finals: (2)
    1976, 1993

    Confrnce Finals: (7)
    1976, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1990, 1993, 2005

    Division Champions: (4)
    1981, 1993, 1995, 2005

I wonder why that is? Maybe because they suck.

Man you guys dont know jack. They had the 3rd worst record in the league, just missing the worst by a couple games. LMAO

Stern didnt need to rig it, you guys had a great chance of getting it.

Missed a lot of time huh...Who like...

    Dominique Wilkins 63 games
    Vinny Del Negro 72
    Avery Johnson 76
    Vernon Maxwell 72
David Robinson 6 (after he "hurt" his back????)

Yet some how he played EVERY SINGLE GAME the next season.
