Luckily I was playing and hitting on my suited connectors.

My favorite hand of the day though was when I knocked out two guys with a suited 72. I was in big blind and two guys went all in behind me. It was only about 1/5 of the big blind more to me so I'm priced in anyway. One guy shows AK, one guy shows AQ if I remember correctly. Only a 7 hits and I collect two bets.

Nice job. I constantly get berated by idiots who don't know that there are times when you need to call with any 2 because you are priced in.

Well, at least you caught one in the first 180 minutes... I only saw a top 10 starting hand once all game - AK that netted me a grand total of 150 in blinds in the first hour. 4s were the only pocket pair I saw all day.

Did anyone else from SpursTalk show up?

I played.... I built my stack slowly but surely during the early rounds, but once the blinds got up to 200/400 I called a guy all in, I had A8, he had 95, flop came A6x Turn 7, and River 8. After that hand I couldn't recover, pushed with JTs called by KT and my day was over.
