My wife agrees with you, she likes Johnny Depp but prefers Clooney. Your screenname is why she forgave you for hexing her Longhorns.Depp over Clooney?!? I'll take that salt and pepper hair and charm any day!![]()
I skipped those tips. People already guess I am somewhere between the ages of 16-19.

We have both made the comparison between Clooney and Cary Grant. I think its an accurate comparison.
I understand your concern, but this is in the local newspaper:
She told "Extra" and "Access Hollywood" this week that "when the lights go out, he's the teacher" and she's the student.
What does she expect to happen when she says things like that. She has been in this business for quite some time and should know what she is doing. Now she is just adding to it by saying more to cover for what was said before.
Don't get me wrong. I am not one of the Eva haters. She seems to care genuinely about Tony and is very supportive of him. She just should have learned by now to watch what she says when what she is saying is NOT about herself. That is wherein the problem lies for me. If someone wants to air their own dirty laundry, go ahead, but you have to be sensitive when it is about someone else who isn't even there.
One thing that needs to be said here (although I do want to get into a deeper discussion once I get back to SM)...
How many of us (collectively) read it - and secondarily, demanded that type of story?
I suggest (for another prespective) you read today's column from the EN Ombudsman. If somebody doesn't link it, I'll do it when I get home.
That's why I explained my understanding before going further with my post.
I personally don't have a big problem with what she said - because honestly she did speak about stuff that most of us like to do or have done - but after reading the article posted by SC, I have to agree that some of the statements (specifically about Tony's previous experience) were ambigous and unfortunately Tabloids will jump on them and given the choice will distort them in the worst way. So I agree with you to the degree that she should be more careful about how she talks with journalists, but not about what she talks about.
That's a point Kori made many times but a lot of people still fail to realize that in a weird distorted way they (we) are responsible for this type of reporting since scandals sell newspapers, movies, records... We could stop it by just not reading (buying) those types of publications - but then the Club would be a very lonely place. Face it, we need to fulfill our voyeuristic impulses - and they (the celebrities) need the publicity.
Vashner, this has NOTHING to do with a 'rough life'.. What this has to do with is the general public's love of anything controversial.. and if there is nothing controversial to report, they will either distort what is said (as in this case), or make something up.
Put yourself in Tony's shoes- you are in love and blissful. Then somebody tries to make a buck off of you by misrepresenting what your gf said about you. Somehow, in his shoes, I don't think you would be nearly as flippant as you are now.
btw- a big thumbs up to SLOMO, who previously in this thread mentioned about the reverse censorship that the "indignation" of some here implies.
