have you seen Safe House??
I'm married with a four and a one year old, you're kidding right?![]()
well it's practically rated PG.
but it's really really good
this is an awesome quote from the movie
cracks me up everytime
Mace: What sort of name is 'Andi' for a girl?
Andi: It's short for Andrea. What sort of name is 'Mace'?
Mace: It's short for 'in your face'!
I too was a huge fan of that show. It rocked.I'm still holding out hope that someone will bring back Fox's "Space: Above And Beyond"
I hate you all, you guys have a Trek thread and I wasnt notified.
Im an old school/movie Trekker, but I did watch TNG a little bit.
my favorite TNG was Best of Both Worlds 1&2, those episodes kicked ass!!!
TNG Trivia-
William Riker is refered to as "Bill" in what 2 episodes?
sorry amigo.I hate you all, you guys have a Trek thread and I wasnt notified
I have always been a closet Trekker but I am also big fans of Star Wars, BSG (old and new), Space Above and Beyond and most Sci-fi endeavors.
trivia answer.....
Two of the very first ones?
I know what you are talking about just not the actual episodes.
And what was up in the the first season with the men wearing those dresses?
thank god they ended that quick! LOL
not cool.
I'll leave it unanswered for a bit just to see if aomeone else can name the episodes.
1 was an early episode.
Number One! I order you to take a number 2!
those were "dress" uniforms, only used when dignataries were onboard the ship.
apparently Patrick Stewart is a big fan of Family Guy, he has done a few cameos. They had Frakes and Dorn on once and they did a spoof. Picard told Riker about a joke about Warfs forhead. Warf got pissed and told them to suck his ridges, it was ing awesome!!
we arn't referring to the dress uniforms (which were liek a short dress top with mathicng pants)
We are referrign to Encounter at Far point and 1 or 2 episodes after where extras , people in the back ground - there would be a man wearing a dress.
but also the dress uni's were a bit fem.
thankgod they changed that in season4.
i saw that!
He's been doing alot of voice work lately - and I'm always like: "thats capt. picard!!!!"
I never got into DS9 and lost intrest in Trek after that, it just got too boring with DS9
That's when I lost interest too. The Enterprise sought out adventure... DS9 just sat there and waited for things to happen.
exactly.
which is why I got so excited about Voyager.
from what I hear it got really good after I stopped watching.
But I loved Enterprise w/ scott bakula.excellent.
I agree...although I did like the storyline with the Dominion...the characters actually did some fighting.DS9 just sat there and waited for things to happen.
I'm all BSG now. As a huge fan of the original series, I was skeptical when I heard they creating a remake of sorts. But this is so completely different that I can't really compare the two. The ship is called Galactica and they are looking for Earth. That's pretty much where any similarities stop.
im with ya. Starbuck was my favorite back in the day and I was skeptical about the new Starbuck being a woman but its ok because she is hot! Not Spurschick hot but close.![]()
I copuld never get into old BSG - and trust me I have really got into some very chesy oldtime sci-Fi shows (ie Dark Shadows).
But man! this new BSG is awesome! Starbuck is my fav. character.
Ithink it helps that Ronald D. Moore is the main writer/producer & the real force beind the re-done BSG.
He got his start at ST:TNG , grew & evolved as a writer over there.
Hey, does anyone remember that way cool episode of Lost in Space where, like, they landed on that planet with those boulders . . . and Professor Robinson told Dr. Smith not to do something but he did it anyway and he got everyone in danger . . . and then the Robot said "Danger! Danger!" . . . and Dr. Smith said some funny back and then he sort of looked at Will Robinson kinda weird as he rubbed his arm . . . and Judy Robison looked hot while Major West just sorta impotently drooled at her . . . and then at the end Mrs. Robinson made everyone Hot Space Cakes and they all laughed . . . that was CLASSIC!
