That's about twice what Beno makes, the Spurs have him for 2 more years, and you claim he's good enough to be held "in high regard" around the league, yet not good enough to play backup for us.[/Tim Allen inquisitive grunt noise]
give em 2.5 mill and a chance at a ring, and youd prob get some solid ones.

"probably cost us a 3 peat"
aw, come on!! Up 2-0, Tony, Tim, and nobody else, including Pop, could figure out how win 2 more games off the 04 Lakers. That certainly wasn't the fault of Jason Hart or Anthony Carter.
Good enough to play or start for a bad team yes, like say, Golden State, Toronto.
Look at Tony's stats for the last 4 games of the series. He faltered, and there was no one to pick up any of the slack. I don't blame Jason or Anthony, but I do blame Pop and RC for leaving us devoid of another NBA PG on the roster. If we had gotten 15 minutes of good backup PG play in games 3, 4, and 5, we probably win at least one of them, and the series.
Alls I know is Pryz>>>>>>>Rasho!!
The Lakers shut down the paint, both Tony, and Tim, and Spurs shot 40% or worse. That isn't the fault of the PG position.
That Tim and Nazr's fault? So where was Rasho?
Rasho was starting. Nazr was still in NY. SA traded for him last season. After the 0.4 () madness.
Yavtokas is twice the player Pryz is ever going to be. We don't need another Rasho.
I actually think Yavtokas is better than Nazr as well.Would love to see him in a Spurs uniform next season.Unlike Oberto he's really athletic and strong, and he'll fit in pretty well in the NBA.
Prz doesn't really fit into the Spurs game. His defense is so so, lots of shot blocking, because he goes after everything, which also leads to foul trouble. His rebounding is quite solid, but his man to man needs improvement.
His offense = nothing. The Spurs don't need another Rasho on offense. In fact, Prz is probably worse.
The Spurs have to find a long, quick and jump-shooting 4, in the Horry mode. And then there is always the Bowen replacement that the Spurs need.
