    Unless you stay within the CBA its not restrictive at all.

    With the same positions you still can trade:

    Oberto for Dirk

    Armstrong for Parker

    Podkolzin for Nazr

    Van Horn for Duncan

    Marshall for Bowen

    Daniels for Manu

    NVE for Terry

    Marks for Diop

    none of which are reasonable trades

    He would have already been a Spur, if they hadn't passed on him in order to select Leandro Barbosa for the PHX Suns.

    If I remember correctly, the Spurs got back a #1 pick in the first round the following year in the trade, but in Josh Howard, the Spurs would have finally secured the "small forward of the future" that all of us have so desparately wanted for this team.

    Still pains me to this day. (Ugh!)

    Yeah but Van Horn and Duncan are very similar. The only difference is Van Horn is more of a threat from outside.

    Spurs trade: Brent Barry, Bruce Bowen, and Nazr Mohammad for Josh Howard, a 1st-round pick, and Marquis Daniels. I'd hate to see that trade as a Pistons fan.

    I don't need a in' gun to my head. Take Rasho. I don't need anything in trade. Just take him.

    Sorry Rasho-lovers. The guy just really pissed me off tonight. I was willing to forgive the lackluster performance by the guys who played a lot of minutes against Utah, but Rasho should've had fresh legs and he couldn't get it together. Same with Van Exel.
