i'm worried about detroit
oh i'm coming off like a broken record again
zocool, i dont doubt that you are uhhh cool
just chill out with the "give peace a chance on spurstalk" threads.
ok so ... are the spurs winning vs. the mavs? i think they are! (attempting to move on)
And Kori asked me to stay, remember??TPark, as always - kiss my ass. And you banned yourself, remember? Go away
Don't remember her ever saying that to you jack .
definitely! its too late in the season for the spurs not to be absolutely motivated and they know how ty a #4 seed would be in the playoffs. and everyone remember that its the DIVISION record, not conference record that determines the tie break as ESPN and nba.com had it wrong for most of the year though they recently corrected it. so this game on friday is even bigger than anticipated!
I just think after a certain point, it's useless to complain about the same old things. After 70+ games, and 2 years of almost the same the same team (everyone but Fin, really), we all pretty much know what their strengths and weaknesses are. Ad nauseaum.
What you have to understand is, every single time they lose a game, it'll be because of something. It'll always be fatigue, or rebounding, or FT shooting, or injuries, or a combination of things.
This team is simply too talented to ever be simply beaten. If they always played an A game, nobody in the world would ever beat them, including the Pistons. Their B+ game is enough to beat like 90% of the NBA. To lose to a home game against a team like the Kings takes pretty much a D+ effort.
Their guys tried a lot harder than our guys. Pretty simple. And you can understand our guys not being too into it since our seed is almost locked up, and the Pistons have HCA locked up. Pop isn't going to crazy trying to win these games, and if he won't go crazy worrying about them, the players won't either.
In the playoffs, I don't think our effort or our desire will be an issue, and I don't see us being outexecuted 4 out of 7 games. Sorry. The only team that can hang in the same gym with us when we're motivated to play are the Pistons.
Frankly, I was more upset following the Seattle loss. The Spurs were never in this game after the 1st quarter. The teams failure to execute offensively on one end and shut down both Bibby and Artest on the other end were a concern. Duncan's health is yet another concern.
It's not about respect for the Bluejays, it's about showing up on a Spurs forum saying Go Spurs Go with an avatar of you wearing a hat of a baseball team that plays 3000 miles to the north.lol i don't really care if you don't respect the bluejays, my hat, my whiny call for more support for the spurs, or anything else about me. I don't think liking the jays makes me any less of a spurs fan.
Tpark - So you're saying you're p-whipped and Kori's not even your wife? That your word isn't good for anything, because Kori said she wanted you to stay? Lots of people wanted you to honor your word and go away for a year, what about them?
And as usual, no discussion from you, just cute use of profanity and personal insults because someone said something less than Pop is great.
Agree 100% with Aggie on this entire thread. I also do not respect zocool for many reasons, being mostly his calling out on every Spurs fan that complains about a loss (are we suposed to be happy?), his bluejays freaking cap and the fact that he changed it for that Chapulin Colorado just made it worse. Kid, to me you are a tool. (Not that you should care about it, just pointing it out)
And TPark, what's with the at ude? You gave your word you would ban yourself from this forum. What does Kori's invitation has to do with anything? Or is it that your word doesn't mean ?
I understand losing games do piss us off sometimes. But I agree, losing games during playoffs can bring the Bruce Banner in me.
BAM! KA-POW! WHAAM!
O well.
The point is that there are some posters that complain about every single loss, start numerous threads about it and yell at the top of their lungs that the sky is falling, every time the SPurs lose a game. And it truly gets old.
The fact is the Spurs are going to lose games, they are going to get blown out, they are not going to go 82-0 anytime soon (not even 68-14, which is a Goddamn difficult thing to do). But Christ, even with TD at 70% and Manu missing 14 games and not playing with the intensity he played last year, we are 58-17, on track for a 62-63 season wins. That's ing awesome. 90% of the NBA fans would give anything to be in our position.
By the way, I respect AHF. He is one of my favorite posters.
If that isn't a sig-worthy quote, I don't know what is.
that's nice dude. thanx for the opinion but please lets not insult el chapulin colorado. if u don't like it its cool, but no need to diss it.
I guess its possible to be an L.A. fan who likes the Spurs, the Toronto Bluejays AAAAAANNDDDD... (hold on for this one) a San Francisco 49ers fan. I mean it happened to me, sorry if I didn't fit your stereotype of what a fan should be.
lol dang it! too bad u think that sir, I like yours.
The Chapulin Colorado sucks monkey balls.![]()
