    Well Duff, that was true. He is out with injury and that does matter to a team that is not a very good team. If the Redskins were more talented, then they can be successful without their best defensive player. Great teams can win without their best players, average teams need all their horses, and Dallas was fortunate to get Washington when they were without their best defender, that is a fact.

    Zak, after 13 yrs of crappy football and losses too many to recount, I am numb to losses to teams in the AFC, teams that earned a win and were not handed the win by the refs. That being said, I remain steadfast and resolute in my love for them, but I have ceased losing sleep over losses where the Redskins deserved to lose.

    You said I hoped they would die. You also said that had Dallas won the game w/o cheating, I would not have given them credit. Where last year did I say that??? What basis do you have? Did I whine about their loss to the Giants? Did I say NY cheated??? How about Cleveland beating the Skins??

    see, now you are just lying. You were the one that pulled the "i love when Dallas players get hurt" and dropped the "I hope their plane goes down" card. I acknowledged that Dallas got favorable calls, (as did Washington which you did not). Never once did I say Dallas won without cheating. You did acknowledge that NY and Cleveland won without cheating. The fact that you did was never in doubt. I like you Jim, just don't agree with you. Insult me all you want...you are making this personal and you really shouldn't but that is your call. I will still back you up more often than not.


    BTW: I thought you were done with this argument. :p

    Mikey, I was kidding when I said I love Dallas players to get hurt...then I embellished and embellished to get a rise out of you by making it more and more absurd, and you guys kept getting more and more shocked, and I laughed more and more to myself when I realized you were taking me seriously. I thought it was evident. Washington got calls, but they did not get 7 pts handed to them, then have 7 pts taken away from them with the no call on Dallas' pass interference, their is s huge difference there. In a 3 pt loss, that 14-10 pt turnaround is huge.

    Mikey, I hate Dallas as a rival to my team, but I never blame losses on refs unless it is founded and both John and Al noted the same HORRIBLE calls and non call, and neither is a Redskin fan, believe me.

    While personally, I believe the word "hate" is inappropriate when used in sports and I don't believe that refs determine the outcome of any game (a topic of which you and I have debated before)...as a passionate fan I totally understand where you are coming from. Just because I believe now in those things I mentioned, does not mean I have never said them or felt them.

    At least we agree on the Astros and Spurs.

If the ref makes a call that went against your team, are the Cowboys supposed to say, " no thanks ref! that call was a mistake! We can't accept it! It wouldn't be right to our brother Redskins!" GET REAL!!!!!!!! It doesn't happen in the real world. If you want to call someone cheaters, then address the refs!

    Hookdem, it does not matter if the refs cheated by proxy for Dallas, or Dallas cheated, it is still cheating...plain and simple. A 14 pt swing because of the worst calls in the history of the NFL=CHEATING. But who the cares....it is October, and the October Classic is right around the corner, football...I have lived w/o it for 13 yrs and another 2-23 yrs does not mean a damn thing right now. Go Sox! Go Astros!
