The reason those aren't throwback is because the Spurs never wore anything like them in a real game. I think Angelo Drossos had his Aunt Matilda sew them together from old CYO togs until he came up with the scratch for real unis.

If the Spurs are going to try the throwback unis again, they should go with the black ones with "San Antonio" on the front. Those look solid. Otherwise, forget it. The silver ones they had last season or the one before sucked.
I think the Spurs thought so too - that's why we haven't seen them since.
The Spurs are all about branding, so I don't even think a "San Antonio" jersey would fly.
I would like the gray, not shiny silver, jersey with "San Antonio" on it.
I just got a Jersey from Academy but it is like an alternate or something it only has black and white. And it is s ched, they just got them in but I have never seen them before. I will post a pic later but they are very nice.

It is black with white s ching, Im not sure if they were made for every team. I think it is really nice and different.
