On the real estate show last weekend they said San Antonio added over 100,000 new homes built last year. Now imagine each house has a 200 Amp box lol..

That's not counting ANY of the new retail footage. Which I bet is in the millions of square feet.

Um, yeah, I don't know what they're saying in SA, but up here in Dallas the top of the news was about the blackouts, how there would probably be more in the coming days if it remained hot, and to conserve energy as much as possible between the hours of 2 PM and 7 PM by turning off unnecessary appliances/electronics and bumping up the AC to 78 degrees.

Every announcement I heard (many) about the blackouts yesterday were accompanied by a plea to conserve as much as possible.
