I'm a kobe hater. that bas hasnt won jack in 4 years. son of a . i hope he gets clotheslined every time he goes to the basket. his bonehead shots and stupid passes cost the lakers an 82-0 season. son of a !
Manu Haters = those that are deluded enough to believe a player as gifted as Manu should never be the non-factor he was in games 3 and especially 4, and then and moan as if its the end of the world.

Where did you get all that 'play him like he is Lebron...not as publicized'? stuff"No, it's really team defense that's doing it," Artest said of stalling Ginobili. "He's such a good slasher. He's so quick. It's been the whole team that has slowed him down."
Well actually it should be something obvious if artest says. Doing this, he was just throwing all the responsability to manu; but fortunately, manu have received it![]()
Tell me one whos better.I disagree.
He's not the best, one of the best sure, but not the best
Bowen isn't.
He shouldn't have been.Manu Haters = those that are deluded enough to believe a player as gifted as Manu should never be the non-factor he was in games 3 and especially 4, and then and moan as if its the end of the world.
These are big playoff games.
You in bring it, if your the second man on the team like Ginobili is.
We brought objectivity and realism when it comes to Ginobilil.
Sorry you take it like someone stepped on your foot when someone critiques him CORRECTLY!
really?
and how Bowen isn't?
cuz Ron shut down MANU?

hey critique him all you want. I never said he didn't suck in those 2 games, never. Critique his performance all you want, but to critique his character and skills as CBF was doing after a mere 2 games then yes, I think that is stupid
Artest needs help behind him JUST LIKE BOWEN.really?
and how Bowen isn't?
cuz Ron shut down MANU?
Artest didnt get the help, and Duncan and Nesterovic were setting VERY good picks last night.
But after watching this series, Artest can guard anyone.
Bowen, obviously, Cant.
Me, Kori, LJ, and a bunch of others agreed.but to critique his character and skills as CBF was doing after a mere 2 games then yes, I think that is stupid
Him taking game 3 into game 4 mentally like that was bull .
You, of all people, cannot! DEFEND THAT!
you say that like its supposed to prove something
I don't think its bull . I think the guy has a lot of pressure, and if you people didn't have an idealised version of Manu in your heads perhaps you would allow for the possibility that the man can up, and that it doesn't make him any less a player than he was two games ago.Him taking game 3 into game 4 mentally like that was bull .
You, of all people, cannot! DEFEND THAT!
I think everyone was suprised manu let that turnover bother him the next game
they did not expect that from him other players but not him
they held him above that they were dissapointed in him
he has played well 2 out of 5 games one with ron not playing
the spurs need him to play well more then that
not sure if spurs can win if he plays the way he is in every playoff series
hmm... how is he in every playoff series? 'cause I was under the impression that with the exception of this series, he's been nothing but stellar in every other one he has been in.
You don't know what the you are talking about. Artest is a good defender but he can't guard everyone! Bowen is having a hard time with Wells because Wells is much bigger and is a bad match up for bowen. That is like putting Artest on TD. TD would kill that er in the post, and you know it. It's a game of matchups... Artest matches up fairly well with Manu (although Manu should have come with more FIRE in games 3 and 4. Artest wouldnt have been able to handle him just like last night) but would match up horribly with TD. Bowen matches up very well with the likes of Kobe, Chauncey, Rip, and other guards but not well with Wells. The reason Bowen has to play Wells is because none of our bigs can guard him on the perimeter. Artest is good, but has not shut guys down as consistently as bowen. Just look at game 7 against chauncy... that is clutch defense.
I thought we were talking about this year?
manu has not been the same player he was last year to this point
he has been hurt though
I twas hoping he would turn it on though in the postseason like last year
ron had 5 steals last night
for knowing you on this board I've learned not to pay any attention whatsoever to what u say, but to judge a player's ability on 2 games is just lame.
Artest is a pretty good defender, but to call him the best cuz he played well Ginobili is beyond stupidity.
And where was Artest in game 1? How about last night? How about next friday when he'll be exposed again?
Artest had a momentum goin' as the whole Kings team had.
Just like tony seemed to be the next Jordan in the LA series in 2004. in TWO games.

its the characteristics of the situation that makes these particular PO games so important and necessary of manus best play.
1. ron artest was shutting ginobili down
ing artest is a punk ass and granted he's been well behaved this series i will never put it past him to blow up on somebody.
2. 1 v 8 seed 1st round
who gives a if it was "a team playing better than an 8" and "a different team since the trade".
3. Manu playing sub par and with innjuries all season
4. kevin martins eraser head running around scoring points and dropping game winners
Manu knew the importance and he showed it in game 5...just not in 3 or 4
this is what you said
if you're talking this year, then yes, I see what you are saying, but I think you can see where I went wrongnot sure if spurs can win if he plays the way he is in every playoff series
are you serious?? why are you underestimating the Kings so much? (which technically its no longer underestimating since they've already proved they are better than originally estimated). The kings are a good team, and Artest is a great defender, now I realise Manu didn't play at his best on games 3 and 4 but Artest sure as had something to do with that.
yes this year
I am sorry I did not type that
I am at work
no prob
you can't just look at this year. The guy has been clutch, and came out clutch again in game 5. Look for Manu to click it up a notch. You have to look at the past to figure out what a player may do in the future. Otherwise, you are guessing blindly. And two games dont mean especially when they were the same two games played against seattle and detroit last year. It's all happened before, and Manu rises to the occasion every time. Just look back to see what happens...
their record with artest would make the kings the second seed
they only lost 7or 8 times with artest this season
what worried me was his quotes more then his bad 2 games
