Softball Practice Updates

I grew up close to that area, but don't remember any fields by Fresno, then again I never played baseball going up.

I SAID THE SAME THING BUT NO ONE RESPONDED.... I GUESS IF WE DONT KNOW WHERE IT IS WE ARENT SUPPOSSED TO KNOW ....LOL
BUT OH WELL I WAS WONDERIN ON WHICH SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY THERE WERE ON


CAUSE THE ONLY FIELDS I MEMBER SEEIN WERE THE ONES AT EDISON

You know, I keep telling Chris he should come with me when I take my son to baseball practice at Alamo Heights Jr. School ... because around 7:00 or so there is always a huge group of guys that play that suck so bad it's not even funny. I get a kick out of watching them when I lap the track.

i dont know if youre jokin or not but you can either take hildebrand to the highway and make a right and go access road to fresno or just take a right on blanco and go to fresno

I think you just take the 35 like you are going to SBC, then keep going past SBC Pkwy, you'll come to the 10 very shortly. Then it's only a couple exits.

Batman swears that there is in fact a field we can use off I-10 & Fresno. I plan on driving by there to confirm sometime this weekend.

I go down Fresno a lot...the only field I know of there is at Edison High school and I don't think it's open to the public...

The park at Olympia & Basse is city owned and would cost $21 to reserve for 1.5 hrs.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Sorry this is coming so late.

I'll pay the $21 if you can get it for tomorrow ... or if everyone can pitch in a dollar or two it shouldn't be that big of a deal...




And I just looked online and they list about 5 places to pay & pick up the permit ... and not a damn one of them are anywhere close. Bas s.

I won't have time to pick up the permit to reserve the field today due to work. If anyone else can pick it up (which I don't expect), we can practice. Otherwise, we'll have to postpone our practice till later.

Olympia Park has an opening from 7:00 - 8:30 ... I misread the locations where you could pay, etc., but there's one on Blanco & West. I'll run over at lunch and verify when I get back.

Unless no one is going to show up ... post as such before 11:00 am.
