I didn't see Volunteers but I heard it wasn't Tom's usual top shelf work.
Road To Perdition was one of those "loved it" or "hated it" movies.
I liked You've Got Mail because I adore chick flicks...and that was a pretty big one.
Joe v. The Volcano was by far the worst.
I don't laugh at the Money Pit anymore, because these days it hits too close to home.

I've tried to watch it (The Terminal) 3 or 4 times, but have fallen asleep each time so I gave up.
I really liked Big, FWIW.![]()
Im with Shoog
Punchline was stupid!
But my favorite Tom Hanks movie was BIG, I love that movie!
I can;t really pick a ty Tom hanks movie because no matter how bad the writing - Tom's performance pulls the movie out of the crapper.
Tom Hanks movies that weren't that great btui I still liek and will watch:
you've got mail
lady killers
from the earth to the moon
turner and hooch
nothign in common
I LOVED road to perdition, cast away (but if anyone else had been i nthat movie it would've sucked donkey ass), the burbs, the money pit, Philedlphia, the terminal, band of brothers (wow- beyond good)
Splash was good - but splash part 2 sucked.
I like dumbass 80's movies.
liek Mannequin. I loved Mannequin
I can't spell for .
I unfortunately was a victim of watching the terminal. (Someone you may or may not know who is frequently linked to me picked it out.) In the terminal, Tom Hanks essentially lives in an airport for a little while. That's pretty much the story. It wasn't person X's fault though, X just picks out horrible movies that I eventually fall asleep watching.
one of the best movies ever made
Ohhh Big was good, as was Philadelphia...that's actually one of my favorite all time films (and not just because I live there).![]()
Yup alot of them sucked major booty... Tom Hanks is a pretty good actor though...
I've seen Philadelphia at least 100 times ... and I still cry.![]()

He didn't act in it, but he had a major role in producing Band Of Brothers which is the most awesome show HBO has ever kicked out. I think he even directed one of the episodes.
Agreed; Dragnet was a product of its time and could never be remade unless it went retro. Same goes for Car 54 Where are you? That remake should have never been made. But as Al Lewis once said, films like this pay the mortgage.![]()
I like the plane crash scene in Cast Away.
I liked Splash - I was just answering his question about the mermaid movie.
its been said several times but turner and hooch was horrible and castaway was probably one of the most boring movies i have ever tried to watch- i only watched half before turning that crap off
i would have to say sopranos if the most awesome show hbo has made. band of brothers was really good though
