    if spurs were good at free throw ssmall ball would be a good option, a decent option at least, but its not, and this is what happens

    Tim fouled out because of small ball. When the Spurs philosophy is funneling players towards the rim where our big men are waiting, they tend to draw fouls but because we don't have another big man out there, the fouls piled up on Duncan.
