I really don't know what's up with the flip-flopping fans, I get tired of reading it after each game passes--but I feel good with what the Spurs showed tonight. If the Spurs didn't fight to come back from behind, I would have said the Mavs are just the better team, the hungrier team..whatever ya wanna call it..but we were right there. We just need to want it more in game 4. Make enough stops...and not underestimate any of the players like we did in game 2... Mavs are a great team and the Spurs need to step up to the challenge.

Good post! As a Mav fan I was beginning to think that just maybe the Mavs were the better team (halfway thru last night's game). By the end, I realized that these teams are basically equal with the Mavs being youger and more athletic and the Spurs being more experienced. This series can still go either way. I was impressed by the way the Spurs fought back last night in that environment. I was at the game and it was an absolute zoo and incredibly loud. And yes, the Spurs got f..ked on that call against Duncan but that stuff happens and when it does you just hope to be on the right side of the call. This is a great series thus far, and I'm looking forward to the rest of it. It's going at least 6 games.

Don't mistake some harmless smack talk with the bottom-line. You will never see me pull out the blame the ref card. That is so lame, and to think many of you make fun of Mark Cuban for that very same thing you all are doing today.

After the lakers swept the Spurs back the day? I tried to rally this city and all I got was a bunch of ungrateful pissed off bandwagon jumpers telling me to eat . That's a Spurs fan for you, trade Manu on page 4 of the game blog topic, praise his name on page 30 , and trade his ass on page 35. all in 25 minutes.

Yeah, we can turn Bill Walton here rather quickly. It's because our expectations are so high and we believe that our team is a lot better than the way that they have been playing. Plus, although we may hate to admit, we are extremely emotionally invested in the Spurs. I know I am. There are not a whole lot of things that I follow more closely than Spurs basketball.
