NO! Because of AJ. I've lost all respect for AJ after his comments about Bowen. I thought he learned something from Pop, ( respect, professionalism,responsability ). Pop never blames the refs after a loss.
Probably, before games 3-4, I would have said the Mavs. At least they are a Texas team. But, screw that. If I had to root for a team, it would be the Pistons. At least they play a physical, defensive-minded game that I enjoy.

I would never root for Dallas over anyone (other than Karl Malone) after the way Cuban whined about Juwan Howard's suspension when he clotheslined DA and destroyed the Spurs shot at taking LA in 2001.
The reason I would want miami to win is that despite me hating shaq it would be kinda funny to see him win it and have all the troll laker fans kicking and screaming over the widespread kobe bashing.
The reason I want Dallas to lose is because their fans have been jerks.

Negative. As I have stated before (probably ad nauseum), I will never, as long as I draw breath, root for the Mavericks.
If the Spurs lose this series, I will be rooting for the Clippers to take the West; ultimately, I will move on to root for the Pistons. If Phoenix should win the West (and they probably will), I will have to root for them. But, I hope the Pistons win it all if the Spurs can't.

I'd have to root for dallas if they were playing the Lakers...I could maybe actually root for the Heat. I do like DWade.
If the travesty that is this series continues to the Spurs demise, having moved to a part of the country that has NO NBA coverage; it will be relatively easy to just let the NBA go. I'll watch college bball, & wait for Stern to retire (and most of those refs he apparently has in his back pocket);

I would root for the pistons..I actually respect their team and owner.. I especially respect their fans.. But for now we have to get ready for game 5..

Exactly. Contrast mouse and some of the others with Pistons < Spurs and Darrin and Dunc. If they hadn't been so hostile, rude and said things that are clearly not true, I might have cheered for them. Although Mouse has made some respectful comments lately, it makes up but a small percentage of the body of his work. Largely because of Mouse, I will root for the opponents of the Mavs every time and lol everytime they miss a shot or lose.
The Pistons fans have shown a lot more class and moderation than almost all of the Mavs fans. The Pistons have actually won a championship recently and had the best record in the league. They have a reason to be confident. And they are, but they have been classy enough to not be in your face and y about it.
I like virtually every Piston fan who posts here. The comments that they make are intelligent and reflect a lot of knowledge of, love of and appreciation for the game of basketball. Hard to say who is my favorite Pistons fan cause I like all 3 of the posters above. I might lean towards Pistons < Spurs because he always encourages us and roots hard for our team.
Pistons will beat the Cavs in 6. Pistons will beat the Heat in 4 or 5. Pistons will beat Mavs in 4 (if the Mavs beat us).
Pistons < Spurs may need to consider changing name to Pistons > Spurs.
Go Spurs. Go Pistons. Go whoever plays against Dallas!
You know, this is the only reason I would feel bad in rooting for the Mavs. I would hate to see this SOB with that trophy. But, I admire their team.
