It's no accident that Kobe's showing up as a TV commentator now, between fishing trips. Duncan was injured in the regular season, but the regular season's over and he's a whole different player now -- or haven't you noticed?

Well, yes, right now TD is the best player in the league. He has only ONE compe or, LeBron James, and I think it's a close win for Tim.
Kobe sucked some hairy balls in POs so he is not even nominated to be the best at the moment.
He averaged 18 and 11 with plantar fasciitis, still made All-NBA 2nd Team, All-Defensive team, starting PF in the Western ASG, and appeared in 80 games. Pretty damn Jordan-like if you ask me.

Ok, that's a good question. If Cavs continue toit should probably be James. If not, Tim will just stay as the best untill the next season begins. He' s just that good.
