... as a member of both forums... i'd say the bigger difference is amount of pages threads go... but there are a'holes on both boards... however, somewhere in the mix there are ppl who make legitimate posts and actually have something to say.

must not be that entertaining,Trust me it's a lot better, we don't get multiple threads about the same topic and we don't creat like a 50 page thread and every post is more than three words with some sense in it. Plus, most of the members are working right now, unlike all the immature kids that make up most of those 261 members currently online. I myself, just got off work and getting ready to watch the game..
Kori is a great moderator, but you kids are driving her crazy with all the BS and multipe threads. At least at Mavtalk we are able to carry out or catch up on our threads. The only thing that bugs me about Spurstalk is that you have to got back like 3 pages to read a thread made like an hour ago...
considering you spend more time on the spurs board then i do at work!

Agree, http://www.dallas-mavs.com/ has more objective posts that MavsTalk. Their site is cleaner and easier to navigate.

Exactly. I lost count of the number of Mav posters that came here right when this series started, and have MORE posts since joining than a lot of regulars who have been here for a while! Hilarious! I think that tells you right there which site is better.It's a lot better.

Ok here is why MavTalk sucks. The webmaster plain and simple. this person either has one huge ego, or never visits his own board.
here are some question that got me banned 5 years ago.
I asked them why they don't change the look? why do I have to see some picture of a Maverick watch or jersey they are selling after every posts?
At least change the gifs every season. to make it look like real people actually run that web site.

and move it to the other side of the forum. Then it hit me! hey this site could use some traffic! So I told a moderator if they wanted me to post their link and a few sites I post at, They told me they don't want any more traffic and that they are happy with the 20 member they have already and I need to stop posting links or I will get banned. Then after about 10 other posters started the "ban this idiot" posts? I was gone.
The only person who at least thought it might be cool? was JonG.
he was kinda like the mouse of that forum, he was always pushing the envelope but never got banned. he said it might be cool to have some posts by fans from other teams. Then about 5 of them started the "we don't want Trolls at our web site" talk. You people forget that we are all trolls unless we post with the name on our birth certificate, There are just different levels of trolls. there is the I have nothing to do but go to many web sites and start trolls, Then there are the I am new and I want to post here and talk but I can't cuz I will be called a troll, troll
Then there is the smart, fun, I want to act like I am a hooters girl or a fan from another team or a famous person and make folks laugh or get them to respond to my topic Troll. In any case? It's still a person who took the time to go to your web site, and if your so much into selling Mavs gear that you have to have a gif in your face 24/7 ?

well as you can see what I had to endure for a few years. As the mavs sucked game after game? I was right there supporting them soon many long time poster where giving me props that an ex Spur fan had more passion than most of there posters. It wasn't until 2004-2005 That I was somehow part of MavTalk w/o all the"your a Spurs fan get out" talk.
That's when it happned. MavTalk made some of the posters who never liked me moderators. I new I was history. One Moderator called Princess has no humor and time to deal with anything she feels is not what is what she wants at her site, AKA another LadySpur. I even quoted her in my sig of her locking a topic just cuz she thought is was to big, Not knowing she misspelled a word.
