Right now it's 10:00PM. I'm gonna try to read The Joy Luck Club for homework and try to get some sleep, but most defintely I'm gonna wait and let everything sink in and try to get my head under control and out of depression mode right now.

Even though I still have a horse in the race, my ass is going to Italy June 2nd. Unfortunately, I'll miss Games 6 and 7 of the ECF and the 1st four games of the Finals...

One thing for sure that I'm not gonna do is watch or try to play basketball for a week or a month. I will get sick to my stomach if I see the Mavs play. :vomit

I am going to watch the Rangers go down in flames post all star break then get excited for the Cowboy season! Woo Hoo ! I am hoping we dont keep the TO , we dont need to bring that type of player into the Cowboys, I dont care how good he is.
Maybe will watch some BBAL after my heart heals.
Watch the rest of the playoffs. Probably yell out profanities when I see Bevetta. Also, watch a ton of Summer blockbusters. Da Vinci Code, X-Men, Superman, etc. Go to Summer school and try to enjoy my countdown to financial independence. Eek :o What else? Oh yah, watch the Cubbies lose and see their starting pitchers go on the DL. Might watch the World Cup, but everyone knows it's either Brazil or Germany and no one else. Countdown to the start of the NFL season and hope it tides me over till November comes around and we can all forget about this season.
Get back to my life hopefully. I took out a lot of time rooting for these guys, flew in from cali for game 7 and I can't say it wasn't a kick-ass game even though we lost. Instant classic for sure.
Man when Manu hit that three, the whole place went absolutely bonkers. I'll never forget that.
Head to Deutschland and hope that Dirk's fame allows me to watch the NBA Finals at some beer garden in between World Cup games! If the Mavs are fortunate enough to make it, that is...
I guess I'll start focusing on my studies for this summer.

Man...I have to get back to school work and stuff....I've been erratic ever since this SPURS-MAVS series....
The Manu Show needs to be brought back to the Finals next year though...
anyway I guess the Spurstalk forum will have dwindling numbers now.. :sad and kinda good. The Spurs doubters are ousted because of it. So we won't see them. Anyway it was fun posting and rooting for the Spurs and countering the negativity. More lurking and less posting now...while rooting for the rest of the teams.
It might dwindle for a couple weeks, but July is our busiest month of the year on this forum.
what i'm gonna do is not watch anymore basketball, just watch some baseball, and just focus on summer I in college. so i guess it's a blessing in disguise for me because i know if the spurs made it to the finals i wouldn't even worry about school, but now i can focus on that and get an A instead of a B or a C
i just finished watching the 4th qtr. on the spurs championship 05 dvd and it made me sad even more because i knew it wasnt gonna happen again this year, but at the same time, I couldnt wait more until the season starts up again. Now I hope the Pistons win it all because I felt bad for Chauncy, Ben, Rip and those guys who lost that night. Go Pistons!!!!

Watch the rest of the playoffs, play ball (Kori, LJ & Manny you guys need to organize more basketball GTG at Trinity, or where ever) and look forward to Cowboys season with 2 big pieces added on to their offense and defense....
Time to focus on the 1st place Rangers and hope they stay in 1st cus the Wild Card ain't coming out of the West. Funny that I love the other Dallas teams but completely despite the Mavs.
