Superduo Vanx and Penny. All teams in NBA should be scared now
The only thing that concerns me is that he is injury prone, but I guess they can determine what he is capable of in a workout.

we could use little penny when pop wants to go small... YOU CAN'T GUARD ME, THE SECRET SERVICE COULDN'T GUARD ME. those little bron commercials are pale imitations.
VanX will not be back. I think he will retire. But we took a shot with VanX why not Penny?
alright smart ass.Superduo Vanx and Penny. All teams in NBA should be scared now
Who should they sign.
Mind you, you are over the cap, you just have the MLE, and you need guards and big men.
Come on, names, right now.
No .
Now we are done![]()

TPark would be a good addition![]()
My worry with Penny is that Pop would use him at the expense of a younger player's development. Penny would contribute little, and then retire after a disappointing second round series defeat, leaving us with a hole at the reserve 1. . .umm I mean the 2 spot that would have to be filled next summer.
Hmm sounds femiliar![]()
I heard T can shoot, and I know there's one thing you can't teach --- size!! T could probably keep some boys out of the painted area I'd bet.
Great idea! Pull the f'in trigger Pop!!!
So we would get a rebounding force from the guard position.
Just like Kidd.

Zarko Psaspi anyone?
Penny Hardaway, 2005-06:

PF: 1.8
Pts: 2.5
Call me crazy, but to me that says that somebody already put a fork in him. How can he even be worth the veteran minimum?
No doubt. He's done. Why would the Spurs throw money away on that when they could be grooming a potential bowen replacement or someone else with long-term potential?
Melvin Sanders' numbers are better. I think he's available.![]()
We need younger bones...
No more NVE's.
Oh man, the Magic are my other team. I used to live in Orlando and was going to the games when Penny was being called the next Michael. Now that I live in TX and follow the Spurs, how odd would it be if he ended up here? I know he's been dying for a chance to prove himself, but IMO he's just too old and banged up to contribute. I feel for him though.
Was Richard Dumas not available?
penny would be a very last signing
Penny Hardaway? Didn't we already do that this year with Van Exel? No more old and done PGs.
We've tried this older vet experience for quiet a while now....we have enough experience with Barry, Finley, Horry, Rasho, and a good portion of the starters already...not just experience but Championship experience.
Now, it's time to load up with some youth.....Matt Barnes, John Salmons, Reggie Evans, and my wish Jared Jeffries
