Must have been 93 then.
If you wanted to be a real prick about it, you could mention who is NOT on the floor at the time.
Augmon was actually in the stands.
In looking at the video the other 2 were Brian Grant and Greg Anthony.
Must have been 93 then.
Ahahahahaha . . . II.
The ownage in this thread is very reminiscent of the game itself.
Was it 92 then? I guess memory IS the second thing to go! We had Rod Strickland and I remember the Coyote doing a classless pinata skit with a Rod Strickland dummy. I think it had to be 93 though since we didn't have Strickland in 92 if my memory serves me correctly.
I'll leave thattt to someone else.
Really?Jim Jackson was stopped on a baseline drive, and Walt Williams missed on the rebound in the final seconds as Elliott chipped in with some crucial defense on the play.![]()
Did he try hitting it blindfolded over his shoulder?
Williams was probably subs uted in the timeout after the shot.
That would have been much more entertaining.
The Blazers called timeout after Ninja's shot went down and subs uted Walt Williams -- for Augmon, I'm sure. The video very clearly shows the Portland 5 to be: Wallace, Grant, Jackson, Augmon, and Anthony. The nba.com video is a bit misleading because in the run-up to the shot itself, there's a clip of Anthony on the Portland bench. At the end of the clip, though, you can clearly see Anthony on the court.
I believe you. I have not watched the video and I have no plans to do so in the future.
By the way, I'm pretty sure Jim Jackson was fouled on the last Portland shot. But no way in were they ever going to call that, they would have burned the Dome down.
The Blazers, to their credit, didn't about it.
First time I ever really lost my voice was at that game... I remember being down and out when we got down by 18... but once we went on a little run in the 4th I felt like we could pull it out.. it was evident in the body language of both teams. First words that came outta my mouth were "that is the hardest shot i've ever seen" from my angle it looked as if Wallace had the block... but no![]()
Before whottt reads this thread ... Tony Parker isn't on the court in similar situations either.
