So lose roughly $50 million of multiyear deals for nothing and sign a player who has already signed a long-term extension.
I've got our GM on the line right now....

Well , by that logic, why settle for Tayshaun Prince? Go convince LeBron James that he really wants to play with the Spurs, and have Pop go after him real hard. Clearly, then Cleveland will have no choice but to trade him. It's foolproof. We Spurs fans are geniuses.but I believe that if Tayshaun says he wants to play with the Spurs ... if Pop goes after him real hard... then there's nothing the pistons can do about it but to trade him ...

I think Joe Dumars would have no problem trading Tayshaun Prince for Fabrico Oberto and Beno Udrih. He would probably even throw in Orlando's first round pick for next year. But, if Dumars gives up Rip Hamilton in that trade as well, that might be too much.
Thread starter! If you look at hoopshype.com and see that after Tayshaun's 05/06 salary, it's just a white line through the 10/11 season, that means that the player has signed a contract through tthat season, but it's not known how much each season.
Tyson Chandler? NO!!!! He's way overrated.

As for Tayshaun Prince I doubt if Joe D. trades him.

First off, Tayshaun Prince isn't a free agent. Second, even if he was we would not sign him because then he would replace Bruce Bowen and no way that's gonna happen. Third, getting Tyson Chandler isn't that easy and if we can get him it's gonna take more than just Nazr and if you want a three-way trade you could at least say who would be the third and the players. Fourth, Robertas Javtokas is not cheap. In my opinion, he's even better than Luis Scola. Last, if you wanna get rid of all those people, even thought I think we should keep Horry and Beno, tell us HOW! And by the way, you are crazy.
Totally!
You're dreamin'.
Here is what I realistically think will happen this offseason...
1. Nazr will leave.
2. Barry will be traded for JR Smith and Arvydas Macijauskas.
3. Javtokas will be brought over.
4. The Spurs will trade Scola for a pick in the first round and draft a SF OR they will package a deal of Udrih + Rasho + Scola's rights to perhaps Chicago for Luol Deng or another team. (This one may not be as realistic)
5. The Spurs will sign Bobby Jackson for the vet minimum
