Dallas has gone on a 11-5 run since the technicals on the D'antoni and Bell.
Damn I get so tired of Dirk's parade to the FT line. Phoenix trailing by 7 now.

Mark Cuban is the biggest pussy in the history of the planet.
two more coming.
I will still hold out hope for Phoenix but they really should win this game.
Caught me in mid-edit.
At one point midway through the third, the fouls were 17 on Dallas, 10 on Phoenix. Since then, 5 on Dallas, 14 on Phoenix plus the two T's.
Since then, the game has been a blow out.
Yeah ... that Nowitzki guy ... he's pretty good.
Peaks and valleys. Tough luck, oh well... See ya in Phoenix.
Suns got their tempo and lost because their mid-range jumpers weren't falling. I do think there's been some very bad calls in this game, but Suns had a seven-point lead late in the third, had all the momentum and blew it.
This is on them.
Congrats to the Mavs fans, just don't think game six won't be a fight simply because you ran away with this game late.
I love Shawn Marion interviews. I can never understand what the he's saying.![]()
Man, I really understand how you guy's felt playing against Dirk. God, you breath on him and you get a foul and I thought Kobe was the superstar! Can't blame it totally on the refs tonight though. Cannot get into a thirteen point hole in the first quarter and expect the Mav's to just roll over. Just frustrating and wish the ref's would just let the players play. Nash took way too many shots and missed a lot. Almost like he switched places with Dirk from game four! As to the technical on Raja, it is a mystery to me as to what he did. If someone else knows please post it. Your also right about Terry going for the balls on people!
Well nashfan, hate to break it to you but Nash gets the same type of calls.Man, I really understand how you guy's felt playing against Dirk. God, you breath on him and you get a foul and I thought Kobe was the superstar!
You'll never find a game, let alone series where Nash gets to the line 24 times or averages around 14 attempts per and he attacks the basket more than anyone.
So, no, your statement is 100% fallacy.
JHoLove, not quite. At least he doesn't have to flop to get the calls. Dirk and Terry act like they are getting killed every time they attempt a shot and jump into a player. Nash is probably one of the least respected players by the refs as far as foul calls go. I know Dirk went eighteen times tonight, not sure on Nash but I think six or seven times. Don't think that qualifies as getting the same type of calls. I can't blame it all on the refs though as we got ourselves into a thirteen point hole in the first quarter and that is hard to come back from even though we did for awhile. This team just does not like prosperity.
Yeah, Ken Mauer got really tech happy right there and it killed the Suns afterwards I think. What angers me the most is that there is such a big blow-up over what Raja did and everything, and then Jason Terry goes and does the exact same thing and him and Avery get livid about it. It's as if they expect all the calls to be one-sided in their direction (i.e. the questionable Nash offensive foul on the Devin Harris flop and then the blatant Stackhouse shoulder-dip into Nash that is called a blocking foul).
Anyone else find it funny that Josh Howard can taunt all he wants, complain about calls in the media, and never get called out for it? Also, have you noticed that sometimes Dirk will drive baseline and travel or go out of bounds and Marv Albert automatically says, "and there's a foul on the Suns" and then has to quickly change his tone after he realizes that the call actually went against Dirk. Great game by Dirk tonight (I mean 50 pts is badass), but I called it in the pre-game posts that he would get more FT attempts than the Suns combined and when you have the Suns attacking at the end of quarters and getting groped out there (e.g. Barbosa at end of 1st quarter and Nash at end of 3rd), it's a little frustrating. Very questionable calls shifted momentum at important points in the game.
Dirk has 47 FT attempts to his name thus far in this series. That's a 9.4 average per game.
Nash has 19 FT attempts to his name thus far in the series for a 3.8 average per game.
Hardly the same treatment.
And Nash would get there more often if they called the holds/blocks/pushes on the perimeter (which the officials did through the first 3 quarters, until the refs decided "can't touch Dirk" was in effect in the 4th). Nash has to change his game when he's forced to give the ball up earlier in the pick-and-roll because he knows in the back of his mind he's going to get hammered inside with no call - his body is already breaking down, so where he used to drive to the hoop and try to get a 3-point play, he's now pulling up behind the arc early in the shot clock. Meanwhile, Dirk just sneezes and he's at the line.
Anyone else see Nash play a little bit of D tonight? At least one steal, a few deflections, getting to the defensive glass, and played Stackhouse pretty tough at times I thought...
did you hear Cuban sending video to league office because the REFS. made to many bad calls and a player ( Harris) went into the stands
Claimed that Shawn Marion put an elbow into Adrian Griffin (replay shows this to be false and that Griffin extended the contact and stared Marion down)? I've never seen a team resort to such pussy tactics (film clips, blogs, and "bear-hug" statements)... I guess Cuban doesn't have enough confidence in the team he built to get it done on the floor when the game is called fairly...
