Nope, all I'm saying is it's incredibly hypocritical to criticize Spurs' fans for their behaviour and to generalize them as all being babies and whiners when a lot of our fans are behaving like arrogant classless pr_cks. "Cast ye not the first stone etc.", right?
Funny how a team with the biggest flopper as well as coach and player that whine pretty much after every call are complaining about calls. I mean Tim Duncan didn't get ANY calls....Diop/Damp fouled him every time. Manu didn't foul Dirk I guess either...should have been a charge on Dirk huh. Instead of blaming the refs you guys should blame Manu for being an idiot and fouling Dirk. Up by 3 with 30secs you ALWAYS don't foul and let Dirk have the uncontested layup. Or how about not letting the Mavs get a 20 point lead in the 1st place? But no...it's all the refs fault...the Spurs are perfect..they can't be beaten...they are too good.

I've got a 20 year old die hard Mavs fan who works for me. Throughout the season we would argue over who was better and he always made digs when the Spurs lost, though I held my tongue when we won, because I know how it feels to lose and feel like you have to justify that to your 'enemies'. After the series, he walked in and didn't say a word until I brought it up and congratulated him. He was nice, and humble, and in return, I've been supportive of him and his team when he was nervous about how the games were going.
Until you show that level of maturity and respect for someone (which you should understand, this being your first ever trip to the finals), no one will show it to you. What a ridiculous notion that on a forum devoted to talking about the Spurs, on the board exclusively devoted to the Spurs, owned and run by Spurs fans, that we should do anything other express our feelings about the Spurs. You are free to disagree with them, but not to tell us to feel differently. How arrogant and disrespectful.

I was watching game 7 with a couple of Mavs fans. What was pathetic, was the brown stains that appeared near their brokeback holes when Manu made that 3 pointer with under 30 sec to play.
They had this look on their face:

as a fan of this sport - its not over. we got 4 more games to win before we can boast and brag... 4 more to actually doing it. winning.... and until those 4 games have been won... i'm excited yes, but am i thinkin its a wrap? no. the heat are playin extremely well...
i dont see a reason to still have the "we beat the spurs, hoo-rah" threads... and ill be glad when they come to an end. and im not even a spur fan... im a mav fan but those threads should have been over the day after game 7.

Who gives a how SPURS fans are disrespecting the Mavericks on a SPURS forum? If you can't get past that, go to the homer boards and continue with the Dirk stroking going on now. To me, that is boring and counterproductive. Spurs fans HATE the mavs and their fans, so what? That Game 7 is still WAYYY to raw to tell them to get over it already. I still get pissed off thinking about Game 7 between the Rockets/Knicks and John Starks shooting 1 for fu#$ing 17 from the field! I will never be over it! Especially "THE WAY" they lost. The huge emotional rollercoaster ride of the whole series was doled out in one, BIG, PAINFUL,BITTER DOSE. Being down 3-1, being down 20 in that game. Coming back to tie it 3-3 , coming back in that game to tie it. The kicker is TAKING THE LEAD by 3 with 20 seconds left only to have to go to overtime because of DIRK and then proceeding to get pimp slapped by Jerry Stackhouse and Desagna Diop of all people. That hurts man!! I expected lots of Bridge jumpers in San Antonio! But first you would need a bridge, and second some water that was deeper than the 4 foot mudpool riverwalk.
Funny how a Mavs trips to the Finals causes some Mavs fans to suffer amnesia. Up until this year, this team had as many whiners on it as any team in the league. In fact, Dirk, Howard and Terry still act as though they never commit fouls.
I watched the series against Phoenix and I see Howard, Griffin and Armstrong attempting to draw charges by jumping in front of their opponent. However when Manu does it, you all call it flopping.
Every team thinks they get jobbed by the refs and all players complain about officiating and good, smart defensive players draw fouls.
Get your together. Just because your team is in le contention for the first time ever, you don't get a pass on your fans bad behavior. If any fans are pathetic, it's the Mavs.

Why do you guys act like the Riverwalk is supposed to be some kind of swimming attraction? I just don't understand that....the only time people actually wind up in it is if they've had too much to drink at one of the clubs. If I were going to jump off of anything, I drive up to Marble Falls. There are some cool little cliffs up there.
As a Suns fan I am going to cheer for the Mavs.....they are a great team and as a WCF gotta pull for em. Also how can anyone cheer for Shaq, that idiot Payton, Jason Williams, thug Zo, and that jackass Walker. GO MAVS!!!

At any rate, I'm actually loving all these attempts at insults towards the Spurs and San Antonio by Mav fans. It's kinda hilarious to see how desperate they are to get the better of us Spurs fans, even after the series is over.
