    I'm not very confident of that in that long term, given the finite supply of fossil fuels and the increasing compe ion for the remaining reserves.
    Exactly. When Russia and Venezuela and all these other countries nationalized their remaining reserves when they witnessed the U.S. oil-grab in Iraq, they in essecense said to the industrialized world, 'screw the free-market system, we're gonna set the price at what we want to set it because oil is a non-replenishable resource and major reserves are drying up around the world'. If the free-market still existed in oil it would be at around $30-35 PPB, but it doesn't.

    Repugs don't do policy, they do only All Politics All The Time.

    The key Repug policy has been to politicize and mismanage govt, maliciously fulfilling their prophecy that all govt is bad.
