Absolutely don't skip the Cointreau or Grand Marnier in favor of the mixes... the orange liquer adds immensely to the flavor of the drink, and allows you to make them stronger without ruining the flavor also.

Cabo Wabo Resposado or Anejo are just as good as Patron IMO.
Both in Margies & for shots.
