I never understood how it was that any celebrity these days can just up and write a novel (see Pam Anderson). When I was younger, I'd always wanted to write a book, but the idea of writing something that takes a year or two to complete, without any formal training/classes seems hard.
So my question is this (perhaps Kori can answer), do these celebrities really write these books themselves? Or more than likely, do they just give the basic plot idea and input here and there and the publishing company will have someone translate into the written word?
