Was nbascribe the "Bam-Bam" you were referring to?
You see the similarities too?
That was damn funny![]()
actually no since Bam-Bam is a little white boy and Greg is a grown black man.You see the similarities too?
I do know that the ladies refer to him as Bam-Bam....something to do with his "club".
And you got the nerve to ask if someone was home schooled? Ooohh so witty of a comeback.
Never would have guessed. But according to him, Celtics, Lakers, and Knicks own the Spurs because they have more rings.
But the Celtics do own the Spurs, right?
Uh I never said that. And considering that the Spurs defeated the Knicks in 99 to win their first le that would not be accurate.
If you're going to quote me, quote me right. Don't try to make up. Too many folk up here will call u out on it...lol
If you are just counting rings...the Celts own everybody.
Greg is not just counting rings.
Sorry, but the Knicks only have 2 les in their history--1970 & 1973
The last little line. Since the Mavs are better than the Spurs(they've proven it), but we haven't any rings yet like you guys, we obviously suck. So until we get 4, we'll stay sorry. I gotcha
But why would someone continually say "Oh we got 3, how many you got" as an argument? This isn't '99 or '03 or '05 so why keep saying it?
You said teams are measured of past success. I'm not making anything up.
He just asked a question. You don't have to answer it if you don't want to.
'We'? Since when did Mark Cuban put you on the payroll?
I said Spurs fans. The Mavs won a series against the Spurs for the first time ever. And now you think they are the king of the mountain? The Mavs have a long way to go before they can dominate the Spurs.
And if they wre the better team, shouldn't the better team be 3-0 against a mediocre Miami Heat team?
But it's a lame argument. Who cares how many les they've won in the past? Let's talk about now.
lame, in your opinion. but to be fair, because you or I say something is lame, doesn't mean everyone feels that way or has to.
Yes sports teams are measured by their past success. But I did not say that one team owned another.
Compared to the Lakers, Celtics and Bulls, the Spurs are with Detroit as a team that has three rings in franchise history.
If you want to look at immediate success, the Spurs still are the most successful franchise of the NBA because they grabbed two les in three years between 2003-05.
King of the Mountain? Didn't say that. Like you said, don't make crap up. A long way to go? Did not they come in the Spurs arena for game 7 and win the series? Tell me if they didn't. Heat aren't mediocre. They beat a team who has been in the Finals the past, what, 3 years? Hardly mediocre.
Let's face it. The Mavs are a force in the west now. Not just a pushover from past years. There's no telling who'll win it next year between PHX, DAL, and SAS.
The Heat are mediocre. They have limited bench depth and the only two consistent scorers they have outside of Wade and Shaq are Walker and occasionally J Will.
You're the one flaunting how great the Mavs are and yet this team has nutted twice on the biggest stage there is. You can't talk about now because the Mavs are on the road to disaster if they lose on sunday.
A force in the West? What just becuase this year the Mavs got past a Suns team tht did not have Amare Stoudamire makes them a force?
I doubt that. A contender is someone who is always either in the WCF or Finals. if Dallas makes it to that point next year, maybe. Right now this is just a team that got by the teams they had to and that was no easy feat. It wasn't like Dallas dominated the Spurs or Pheonix in those series. That team struggled and it showed up again in this series too.
Are you not the one rubbing in the "3 rings" everytime I tell you the Mavs beat the Spurs?
