This was the worst choke I've ever seen in the NBA. 2-0, up 13 with 6:34 left in game 3 and you lose in 6? ing es! They were 6 minutes from ing sweeping and they blew it! OMG it's so sweet to see that Cuban have to suck on that.
The only bigger choke job than this are the Pistons for being the only team in the past quarter century (actually, the Sixers fall in there as well) for failing to win multiple les. Pathetic.

Teams generally don't recover from something like this -- especially if it plays right into the negative stereotype that already existed about the team. Like the Oilers blowing a 35-3 lead in the playoffs. They didn't bounce back, they left town.
The Mavs stopped going to the hole and reverted to the soft, jump shooting Mavs that could never win the big one.
"Same old Mavs" is the refrain they'll have to live with now. It will be that much harder for them to get over the hump in the future.

Amazing. I'd say this ranks at least in the top 5 chokers in history. This is a 60 win team, coached by the Coach of the Year, and a team that managed to close out the defending Champs in a 7th game on the road in OT. They were up 2-0 in the NBA Finals with HCA and managed to lose 4 straight...for the first time in franchise history since the 2003 season (they said this stat in the pregame). Absolutely amazing.
As a Spurs fan I'm somewhat ashamed we lost to this team
