I like the lawn seating. Granted, it's best for a someone like James Taylor when you just want to relax and list (again, no laughing). But with the set up at Verizon, it's not like the standing room only section will be that fun.

Rob Zombie is a complete joke.
I had to sit (well, actually stand since it was general admission) through his set the night before Halloween when he was on the bill with Judas Priest and Anthrax out here in Long Beach. It was so incredibly cheesy. His songs are just lame. He is such a sell-out . He was running video clips of old Hammer movies and old Ultraman clips and even clips from "House of 1000 Corpses" on a screen behind him while the band played. He couldn't get off stage fast enough for my liking.
I'm waiting for Slayer on 7/22 and I'd like to go to Dissection on 6/30, but work won't permit that. Oh, well. it.

I am seeing the Goo Goo Dolls and the Counting Crows tomorrow...and have already seen Common, Jurassic 5, She Wants Revenge, and Kanye West this year.

I had to sing a Goo Goo Dolls song on karaoke with no words or music on a $30,000 Build Your Own Bikini night...live on the radio....for a chance to see them in a private concert in a small room with gauzy curtains, big throw pillows on the floor and lots of candles. I didn't even particularly care for them, but they were my best friend's favorite at the time. It was in a small room at the Erwin Center in Austin before the concert, with about 20 people in the room. It was pretty awesome, though.

I just wanted to see Tonic, who was playing with them.
