Maybe this wasn't the intent of the post, but I don't think you can fault a fan for his age and when he got into the game of basketball. I'm 21 and have been a Spurs fan since I was around 11-12 ... this was also around the time the Spurs made the WCF and David won an MVP. Does this make me a band wagon fan because I got into the game when the team from my hometown was doing extrememly well? Or does it make it a coincedence that at an age where I could start thinking independently of what my parents told me, I also began liking the Spurs? Like I said, I don't know if that's the intention of you post, but I think it's unfair to younger fans to fault them for when they become fans.
The times you can fault players for being on a bandwagon is when they're obviously older and seem to switch teams at will. Which was the case for A LOT of Heat fans. Honestly I believe the majority of them are front running, Shaq-jocking fans.
