The moral of the story, if it's true, is that a player shouldn't shut down workouts.

I thought this sounded like the Knicks, too, but the part about the owner being a chepstake doesn't work.

If the guy was a lottery pick like Shelden Williams then you can understand shutting down work outs if a team like the ATL says they want him, but a guy at the end of the 1st? His agent should know better then to buy that, if it's true which i don't believe anyway cause hoopsworld is .
