BOM4R3D!!1
OU's got another year to go before they are a true threat. They really proved nothing last year. Adrian Peterson actually succeeded in proving he isn't on the level some dumbasses thought he was on, when he failed to improve without 9th Year Senior Jason White. Their defense does not inspire the sense of dread and fear it used to either.
Too bad they don't have a pair of Ting Brothers.
peterson is damn good, but when you have zero other options capable teams can stack the line and stop you. i am a ut fan, but they had zip, zero, zilch out of the passing game.
whoever gets ncaa 07 first, please post bomars ratings
Will he get a 99 in Break Tackle too? He should, because he broke arm tackles against texas linebackers pretty well...........
Tech is a flawed system against the 'Horns. They gave UT trouble during the first two seasons of Leachball, but now the Horn's have that screwy system figured out. It's like facing a knuckleball pitcher - the first few times throw you off but once you see it enough you hammer it. Tech has a very simple playbook with variations on about 12 plays. UT has shown over the last three years that it has this scouted well. Gene showed last year that he knows how to stop it, and the freaks UT has on defense have the chops to stop it.
Update:
Code solved. Case closed. OU ed.
OU HAS BEEN CHODE BLOADED I SAIAAIIAIAIAAAIIAIAIAAAAAAD

This thread is a microcosm of the college football world. He was once the most enigmatic player in the big twelve, now he's a mcclendon marriott bag whose wife had to leave oklahoma because she couldn't sell insurance with the name "Bomar" there anymore.
rofl from rhett-bomar.comPatterson interested in Bomar
TCU coach Gary Patterson said he would be interested in adding former Oklahoma quarterback Rhett Bomar to the Horned Frogs' roster , but conceded much needs to take place before Bomar could join another team.
"Who in the United States wouldn't be interested in Rhett Bomar as a player?" Patterson said. "We have question marks. You need to have patience in these situations.
"You'd like for him to come up and take a look at the place. We have a scholarship available, and we have an opening at quarterback."
Chad Huffman was expected to be the backup to senior starting quarterback Jeff Ballard this season as a junior, but left the team after being selected in the second round of the amateur draft by the San Diego Padres.
Next season, TCU will start a sop re or redshirt freshman if the roster remains as is.
Bomar and his roommate, offensive lineman J.D. Quinn, were dismissed from the Sooners earlier this week after an internal investigation revealed they received excessive payments for their work at a Norman-area car dealership.
Each will have to repay the money they illegally received in the form of charitable donations, then apply for reinstatement from the NCAA.
Any player who transfers to another Division I-A team is required by the NCAA to sit out an academic year.
Bomar will have two years of eligibility remaining if his eligibility is restored by the NCAA.
But even if their eligibility is restored, that doesn't make Bomar and Quinn locks for TCU.
Patterson, who said he also has interest in Quinn, said more information is needed from Oklahoma and the NCAA.
Also, Bomar pleaded guilty to being a minor in possession of alcohol in March, and Quinn was arrested in November on su ion of drunken driving.
Both were in good academic standing before their dismissals.
"With any young man that comes to TCU, it isn't what the head football coach thinks," Patterson said. "It's what the university thinks, starting with the chancellor."
Neither Bomar nor his father, Jerry, returned phone calls Friday, but Texas A&M-Commerce issued a release that said the football team has asked Oklahoma for permission to talk to Bomar about transferring.
Quinn's father, Jim, said his son would be interested in TCU. Jim Quinn played linebacker at TCU in the 1970s.
How is this topic possibly still important? How can Mookie be a Moderator if he doesn't even have a computer with even one of the Internets?

I don't know what it is but i said i said i said.
Correction... this was uo's last recent shot. They grad everyone (6 Def starters) and Peterman will be gone to the pros plus any other Jrs that will go early (Pleasant? Wolfe?). This was it for them, in terms of contending for it all. They will be starting a green QB, green RB, new defense.
By the way, Bomar just enrolled at Sam Houston.
The captain is right.

I'm going to try and accompany the Texas State contingent to the Sam game just to rip into those Sammycats.
