That sucks! I know you were looking forward to it.
(and I selfishly wanted to hear both your opinions about Ian).
There is a tiny chance I could go, but I would have to rely on the advice of grizzled vets to know how to go about it.

Yes, I totally agree with you.
Do you want to go?
I can probably get you a press pass?
I have a friend who is covering Seattle's team who is going to do Spurs coverage as much as he can for us, if we don't go. But he's only going a couple days of it.
I'll let you know. I would definitely have to miss the last day.
Cool. As soon as you let me know, I'll call the Jazz people and get you a press pass. Should be easy because I've used your articles on SpursZONE before.
The games are starting at 3pm everyday but no games on Sunday or Wednesday I believe.
You'd could advise Noel for me too.![]()
Will do. Thank God they start late. i'll have to be versed on how to buy booze there.![]()
Thank God they start late.
When we went 2 years ago, they started at noonbut less teams are there now. That year there were 11. Now there's only six.
Yeah but you suck.![]()
I'm better than them, too.

That weight for Sanikidze was his draft weight...I doubt he's still that skinny.
Im assuming whoever performs the best between Donta Smith and Melvin Sanders will earn one of the injured reserved spots.
I think Sanders is still under contract, so that would be Sanders.
He's under non-guaranteed contract. The Spurs can cut him anytime and owe him nothing.
Melvin's deal has to be make-good this season. The Spurs don't do those deals any other way.
Im calling it right now. Donta Smith will be on the Spurs roster come media day.
I wouldn't bet against that right now. He's perfectly capable of putting together three or four impressive games.
If Melvin Sanders is on next year's roster, I'm going to be pissed. That guy has no upside and is way too small to be anything in the NBA.
I'm still curious what pop and R.C. have in mind for the starting center position. I'm assuming they are looking for a center via trade before they offer anyone all or a portion of the midlevel due to the quiet couple of days. Damn these quiet days!
Donta Smith to me has a lot more potential than melvin sanders. Because of his age, size, and athletic ability.
There is a chance it will be something we discussed, but more likely it will be something none of us even considered. That's CIA for you.
I love this CIA crap.Keeping me up at 4:46 in the morning.
Hopefully John Ludden or Mike Monroe can have an article tommorow having Pop and R.C. beating around the bush so i can get some sleep.
We are trying to work out a way to go to part of it.
We'll see.
any chance that if ian goes off and averages like 18 and 12 we can sign him for this season?
Here's the summer league TV schedule.

The games are delayed by a week or more, but it's still good.
