We don't need a *top* free agent, we have a solid team that needs a bit of tweaking. We've had the Cuban upheavals in the past and they sucked big time so it's nice to see that the team is pretty much still intact. This is one of the few things I've admired about the Spurs in the past, they know how to keep the major players together.

Denver's problem is neither Carmelo nor Andre Miller can hit an outside shot so the Nuggets relied to heavily on Buckner's offense which is not the case with Dallas. Buckner would fit in like Adrian Griffin for Dallas. He was benched because Terry can't guard Parker. Harris was a better fit against Parker in that series. I think Dallas did better with Griffin against both Phoenix and Miami but because of matchups did better with Harris against San Antonio.
Clearly, you guys did just fine with Harris in there.
It's just that (unfairly) my first thought when I think of Griifin is "The guy who killed us by getting benched."
