i like tombstone, but it gets serious points off for the terrible horse chase scene, i always fast forward past that. the director's cut has a lot more fight scenes, thumbs up for that.

Shawshank Redemption is a classic![]()
that is probably my favorite movie of all time
Im a big Nick Cage fan, and I like Travolta, and John Woo aint too bad either!
- Drama -
Dead Poets Society: No one flim has had more of an impact on me. Great writing, great twist, great message. Forever I shall sound my barbaric YAWP from the rooftops of this world.
Memphis Belle: Saw it with my grandfather, a decorated WWII veteran who both flew on and worked on the bombers, a mere three weeks before he passed. Saw it at the Cine Capri in Scottsdale while it was still up. Was once the largest screen in the West. One of my fondest memories.
Hoosiers, The Natural, Rudy and Rocky: Four sports movies I could never live without. Still get chills at the end of each.
- Action -
The Bourne Series: Loved the first, liked the second very much, but love aspects of it. Great car chase scenes. Great fight scenes. Great twists. That and I have a thing for Lola
Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, True Grit, Tombstone: Each western is entertaining from beginning to end. Great quips in each.
Fight Club: Not since Tombstone did one film have so many great oneliners. Great acting, with everything a mna would want in a film.
Fear: This movie was one of the first movies I saw over 100 times. May have been the first. Loved Reese and Allysa and thought Wahlberg was a god in the film. Everything I wished I was. Damn I wanted to be a criminally insane heartbreaker who gets crushed on goes on a stalking/killing rampage... btw, any ladies reading this, my number is 555-3467... call me
- Comedy -
Spaceballs, SuperTroopers, Billy Madison: Supremely clever and flawless in delivery.
Animal Crackers, Duck Soup, The Tramp, Dr. Strangelove...: The Marx Brothers films are always fun. Crackers and Soup just are that much better. As good as any comedy I've ever seen. The Tramp was great fun. Dr. Strangelove has as many memorable scenes as big laughs and both are abundant.
Austin Powers movies, Gone in 60 Seconds, Chevy Chase Vacation movies, Heat, Casino, Goodfellas, Scarface, Labyrinth, Fast and Furious, Menace II Society and Full Metal Jacket just to name a few.
