Dang it! I wanted it to go to 12-1.
A pox, a pox on Jim Leyritz, I say!
[/Disgruntled Braves fan]
Dang it! I wanted it to go to 12-1.
They were saying that Leyritz played for the Sox in '98, that's not true...he played for the Padres cause he faced the Yankees in the WS that year.
Harry Doyle: One hit. That's all we got, one Goddamn hit?!
Monte: You can't say "Goddamn" on the air.
Harry Doyle: Don't worry. Nobody's listening anyway.
Half the season with the Sox, but he finished with the Padres
You guys ever go to the chat page? I've got it up and it looks better than the old one...
Ruh Roh, Rastro! Back to back doubles? Stop the bleeding quick!
Why the is Pedro in the game? That makes no sense.
Because the Sox were beginning to realize the "Curse" wasn't enough...they're going to have to really up to lose.
So, in he goes.

5 more outs!!!
ARod struckout. 4 more outs!!!
I can feel it!!!
3 more outs!!!
Last year when Boston came from being down 0-2 to timvp's A's to win was amazing IMO, but that pales in comparison to this historic comeback. I can not believe this.
I just called my best friend-Yankees fan and she just told me to shut up as soon as she picked up the phone.

I know it aint over yet, but the way the Red Sox jumped out on top of the Yankees, It kinda reminded of Game 6 of the Laker series in 2003. Got the monkey off the back, and exercised the playoff demons of the past.

I told her I would after the final out. She said she wouldn't answer the phone, but I reminded her that my phone was ringing from her before Boone's HR even hit the seats last year.
