The Rockets could be like a 6 or 7 seed.
And isn't Novak a 4?
The Rockets could be like a 6 or 7 seed.
If Tmac would revert to 2003 form healthwise they could probably be the best team in the league.
I don't see them being the best team in the league, but if TMac & Yao are healthy the whole year I could see them with the 3rd or 4th seed in the west.
Holy cow, when they go to the bench ... they got no-one. If T-mac is close to leading the league in scoring and Yoa isn't that far behind, then they will be contenders.Current Roster:
C Yao/Mutombo
PF Ju.Howard/Bowen/Lampe
SF Battier/Novak/Hayes
SG TMAC/Snyder/Sura
PG Alston/Head/Spanoulis
Both have to be healthy all year, and hit on all cylinders all year (I don't think this will happen). I see them as a team that will be in the dogfight for the last play-off slot with the Lakers, Grizzlies and Hornets.
Wait, lemme catch my breath...
No, but seriously...if Tmac does revert they would be right up there with the Mavs/Spurs assuming Van Gundy got them to play defense and Yao to play like he ded the last half the season last year. Battier is an awesome addition and very underrated.
There bench doesn't scare me, or anyone else...but they could be a very tough team. I don't think Alston can get it done though, get a real point guard. Even if it's a Tinsley type. Sura isn't the answer either, IMO.
Wow, you Mavs fans are sharp.![]()
lucas III is supposed to sign with houston very soon.
I think he could end up being a good PG.
